Yes, candidates are not required to appear for WBJEE exam to get admission to BTech. UEM does not consider WBJEE score for providing admission to the BTech course. However, candidates are shortlisted for BTech course based on IEMJEE score followed by a counselling round. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 70% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 are eligible to apply for BTech specialisations.  

The seat intake for a four-year BTech (CSE) course at UEM Kolkata is 960. The BTech CSE is divided among the CSE sub-specialisations, which are as follows:

No, direct admission is not possible for UG level Engneering courses at UEM. To get admission to BTech at UEM Kolkata, candidates must appear for IEMJEE entrance exam, which is conducted by UEM. Yes, UEM Kolkata offers a four-year BTech course via its Department of Engineering. Candidates get option to choose among nine specialisations. As per the selection process, it's mandatory for students to qualify for IEMJEE exam to get admission to any of the BTech specialisation at UEM Kolkata. So, candidates preparing for University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata admission via WBJEE must aim to target a rank up to 68436 to secure a seat. However, this range is for the General AI quota, and the cutoff ranks vary for other categories and quotas.
