The best part of this university is that it has good faculty members.
Placements: The university provided great placement opportunities. There were many renowned companies for recruitment. They hired deserving students. There were different selection processes for different companies. The salary package was also high. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, and the average was around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I stayed at the hostel, which was situated on campus. It was separated by a wall. The quality of the food was better than that of other colleges. The menu was chosen by students. Every month, we change the menu. Idli sambhar, putt, kadala, and other items were included. They served vegetarian lunch for 5 days, i.e., rice with 2 or 3 dishes, curry, and pappadam. Wi-Fi facilities were provided by the hostel. Washrooms were always neat and clean.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. They taught us in a good and interactive manner. They were highly experienced and friendly. All faculty members were Ph.D. holders. There were some assistant and associate professors. The teacher-student ratio was good. Students got individual attention from teachers. Exams were conducted semester-wise. There is an internal assessment each semester. Both marks are clubbed together in the mark sheet.
Other: The fee was Rs. 4000 per year.

One of the best faculty members facilities in this college.
Placements: The psychology department does not have highly functional placement cell. However for other courses, the college has a variety of companies coming in and picking up candidates, multinational such as E and Y, P and G, KPMG etc. Picks up students through campus placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good one there will be lesser hostel fees 250/ month is the hostel fees. There will be dividing mess system controlled by students that mess fees divided based on expense incurred. It is feasible. Ladies hostel fees is good one. Their mess system controlled by contractor they also doing dividing mess.
Faculty: The curriculum is very detailed and educative in graduation you choose 3 subjects out of which 1 Is your honours subject and there is an ancillary subject and a language subject. If you want to prepare for some competition exams in future then it's very helpful. All 3 core subject have 2 papers to study and language and ancillary have 1 paper each. The exam structure is semester wise. You have to appear for 8 papers in one semester.

Good place to turn into a psychologist.
Placements: As of now, I am writing about my department here, as each department at my university functions independently. Currently, no students have been placed in any firms, as my field demands constant education and exposure to experience. Most of my seniors are currently doing internships at several reputed organizations and hospitals. They say that studying at Calicut University has helped them a lot in gaining the practical experience needed in this field.
Infrastructure: This is a state-run university, so the hostel rent is very cheap. I pay about 175 rupees for my two-sharing room, and the food is decent, with the mess bill coming to around 2000 rupees per month. The whole department and hostels have excellent Wi-Fi facilities.
Faculty: The teachers here are excellent, holding doctorates and being specialists in their areas. They provide the valuable exposure we need. The exams are outcome-based and fully practically oriented, which helps us gain relevant knowledge.

My best years of life in college.
Placements: Our college has a placement percentage of about 80%, and the highest package that is offered for our course is 3,50,000 per year, which is decent in terms of the fees that we pay and the ROI of covering the fees. The average package stands somewhere around 2,00,000 per annum in Indian rupees.
Infrastructure: The best part of our college or university is not its placements but its infrastructure facilities that it provides us throughout academic life, and its sets are benchmarked for other institutes as well in terms of the assistance they provide us in terms of living in the college.
Faculty: The course curriculum is extremely relevant in terms of industry requirements, and the college keeps on updating it every year in order to keep the students of the institute updated with the outside world and also helps us in honing our concepts for placements.
