A: 

NMIMS is a recognised university with great ranking and accreditation. And they do provide placements assistance even in the distance education front. NMIMS makes sure that someone studying from distance doesn't get anything different or less than what a regular student is getting. In most universities where faculty for distance and regular are different it’s not the case in NMIMS. The faculty teaching both regular and online are the same. And according to UGC (University Grant commission) a degree from a recognised university (Regular or Distance) have the same value.

 

The hiring counselor will work individually with each student to search for job opportunities. The programme participants shall receive job opportunities each week for the duration of the Job Search module. At least 3 job interviews with a salary hike of 10% -30%

NMIMS aims at 100% placement.NMIMS has gained widespread corporate recognition & is accepted by over 8000+ top corporates in India. During NMIMS Mumbai Placements 2022, 29% of the batch got placed through Pre-placement offers. The highest salary package offered was INR 57.65 LPA. One of the best management colleges in Sion.
Placements: I completed my MS in operation in 2019. The college was fantastic to learn, faculty members are well-proficient in their field of knowledge, and 90% of the students got placements. The highest salary was 10 LPA & the lowest was 4 LPA from top recruiters like HDFC, Kotak Mahindra, Maersk, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was good. All the necessary resources are available, like Wi-Fi, library, computer lab, canteen, playroom, seminar hall to groom the students for the market, on-field training, industry visits, team outings, seminars, sports activities, festival celebrations, annual functions, & various other activities.
Faculty: Teachers were really supportive. All the subjects offered by the college were updated & relevant according to the market requirements. Visiting faculty members were also available who are Masters in their field of work. They share up-to-date knowledge with the students regarding what is happening in the corporate world.

Placements: I am 2018 passout Student of this College, overall from our course more than 74% of students are placed in big Companies. All most all students are placed with minimum package of 2.5 to 6.1 and the highest package is 17.5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are L& T, HDFC, ONGC and HCL more.
Infrastructure: Our College is well designed with Best Interior and attractive building. The infrastructure of each building is different. The library is available. Our college has average Infrastructure. The food in the mess is good. Our college has three canteens.
Faculty: Our teachers are not much food. Extracurricular activities depend on much we pay does not organize activities or events in which students a willing to enjoy. They not prepare for Industry but off Campus there may be a chance. The Exams are not much stuff.

Placements: Companies like Reliance Jio, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, and Godrej give great opportunities in terms of placement. Also, all specializations like Marketing, Finance, Hr , and Operations have great opportunities, and grooming is done here very well, so you are prepared for the interviews .
Infrastructure: It provides laptops which have college Wi-Fi connected. Amazing library variety of books are available and affordable, and you can taste food in the canteen. Medical facilities are also available, and there are clean washrooms. Many events are organised where sports events are organised.
Faculty: It has 6 semesters, so we get exposure to new subjects, and the teaching style is very interactive as they focus on providing practical knowledge. The faculty are very cool and understanding and guide us whenever we need help. Also, attendance is compulsory to attend exams.
Other: Their curriculum makes them different and effective.

Placements: Since I have just reached the second year, we will start getting placed in September-October. But, in general, over 300 companies come to campus for placements, and the highest package of the batch was 40 LPA last year. The average package is around 10-11 LPA. All students from our course got internships in different roles like sales, marketing, finance, client servicing, HR, etc., in marketing agencies, real estate companies like Runwal, Rustomjee, and many more renowned companies. Top roles offered are marketing manager, studio manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is nice. It has Wi-Fi, well-built classrooms with smart boards, an amphitheater, an auditorium, a canteen, and much more. The college has hostels, not within campus, but in nearby areas like Dadar, Wadala, and Matunga. It doesn't provide food, only stay.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, we also have external faculty members who come from industries and renowned companies. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is great, up to standards, and follows the latest trends. We also have additional industry sessions and seminars for more knowledge and information. The difficulty of exams is medium and results come in CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the media and entertainment sector. The best things about the course are that we have media-specific subjects and industry speakers as well. We have an annual management fest, Webiz. The campus crowd is good, and we have many extracurricular activities and volunteering opportunities too.

Placements: The highest package is 14 lacs and the lowest is 4 lacs. The top recruiting company is Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered are financial analyst, sales manager, etc. 80% of students got the on-campus placements. The companies that come to this college are Mahindra, ICICI and other average companies, which will be helpful to students .
Infrastructure: There are 2 labs and classrooms are well furnished. There is also a library. I am not a hosteler, so I don't know about the food availability, mess and canteen, medical facilities, etc. The sports and games are conducted and other colleges are also where this college students are participating .
Faculty: Teachers are very approachable, motivators, teaching and learning processes are very good, and they provide courses. The course curriculum is relevant. The curriculum conducts all activities related to the course. The college is ready the students for industry. The semester exam is relevant.
