Other: It is one of the best Universities in India in Biotechnology and Chemistry. The school of Chemistry Department is at the top in Asia. The teachers/scientists are outstanding in Biotechnology. Students used to get both experimental and literature experiences. The university has provided all kinds of the advanced techniques to make learning all the students. The best part is that we used to allow to handle the instruments by yourself. This gives more confidence to us for handling these instruments. I would say it is the best platform to have a higher education in any stream. More than 90% students get either Job in private or Government sector. However, others go abroad for higher studies. This university has persists the top most position in India. Of course, you can't miss too many classes, attendance is strict. Teachers are very good and student are friendly. Students here are extremely helpful and enjoy their life to the maximum with different programs and events. There are many places to relax. There's a CCD on campus. Films are screened occasionally in the DST Auditorium which we used to say our local talkies. All the students have freedom for roaming in campus throughout whole night. Our campus is safest place where we can roam all over without any fear. We used to have night canteens where we can go and have snacks in night at any time. This helps a lot to make us active during the exams time. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Almost all big companies come for campus placements.
