UPES is a college that provides a lot of opportunities.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. The average package ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA for the computer science department, while the highest package may reach up to 17 LPA to 18 LPA. It varies with students and the skill set that they have acquired during four years of their course.

The college with a good placement rate.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty much average. One needs to have a good CGPA and CV to get a decent placement in the core company, otherwise marketing companies remain an option. The highest package offered is 17 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average package offered is around 4 LPA. Core companies like Reliance, Honeywell, PCBL, and Exxon, etc., visit the campus. Marketing companies consist of startups mostly. Around 20 internships are provided by the college, in a y...

A good college for hardworking students.

Placements: The college provides ample opportunities to law students. It totally depends on an individual to get placed. The average package offered is around 4 lacs per annum, which is good for a fresher. Law is a field where one requires experience, so the more experience you get, the more heights you'll reach.

UPES is trying to find the balance between academics and co-curriculars activities.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were okay. Most of the seniors were placed with moderate packages. Companies visit the campus, but only a few students were offered technical profiles. The assistance is provided for getting the internships. Almost everyone got the internships.

Our college has good faculty and placement record, but the industry exposure is less.

Placements: Placements record of the institution is fabulous. More than 94% of the eligible students got placed in 2018, and around 92% of the students were placed in 2017. Almost 91% of the students were placed in 2016. It can be seen that the placement record of the institution is getting better by every passing year. The highest salary offered was 30 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 3 LPA. The average salary offered was 4.5 LPA. IT companies like Samsung, Wipro, Amazon, Paytm, IBM, Dell, Reliance I...

Don't choose this college if you find any better college with the fee structure of 10-12 lacs.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed in the campus placements, but the thing is, only 40% of the students got placed in their field and rest of the students were placed in sales, B2B, etc. It doesn't matter how well you do, as the college has to approach companies which they are unable to do. The highest salary package offered to our batch was 5 lacs per annum, the lowest was 2.5 lacs per annum, and the average was 3.75 LPA. Students were mainly placed in the sales department. An average college because it is not worth the money in terms of return on investment.

Placements: I personally feel that the placements are not worth the money because you invest 13-15 lacs but the average package offered is only 4 LPA. Only those students get good packages who are on good terms with the professors, and the good packages are about 7-8 LPA. It is the same thing with the SIP also.

Dissatisfied because of the facilities provided by our college.

Placements: About 80% of our seniors got placed with an average package of 4LPA. The internship opportunities were not at all good. Hardly any student from my batch got an internship from the college. Companies like IBM, LTI, Commvault, Microsoft, cognizant, etc., visited our college for placements. The highest package offered was 12 LPA.

A business oriented university with average academics and beautiful buildings.

Placements: Our branch students generally do not get placed in the oil and gas sector. My batchmates were forced to attend the interview for fashion consultant job profile. I was not allowed to opt in for placements as I was absent for a day when the placements coordinator was making the list.

An honest review of UPES, Dehradun.

Placements: Placements for computer science are average, with an average package of 4 LPA. However, there are a few companies like Commvault which visit the college for placements with a package of 14-16 LPA. We also had Amazon and Microsoft on our campus with salary packages of 10 LPA and above. Besides this, mass recruiters like IBM, TCS, Infosys regularly visit the college, and a few good candidates are picked up by Intel, and HCL also. The placements for cybersecurity course have been superb in the past...

Satisfied because the number of students are dramatically increased when I took the admission.

Placements: LTI recruited 230 students in placements. Other than that 56 other companies came for campus placements and around 500 students from the computer science got the placement offer. The average salary package offered is around 3.5LPA which is pretty decent and better than any other college.

UPES Highly rated and no beneficial outcome of it.

Placements: Average placements is around 4 lacks. Some companies also offer around 6-8 lacks to few students. There are some exceptional placements around 9-16 lacks. All student in CS gets placed. Companies like tcs, amazon, microsoft, L&T etc. Come to offer jobs. Non cit branches are treated poorly in terms of placement accept petroleum, gas and fire safety.

Faculty members are above than average and placements are just average.

Placements: Placements are average, 10% of the student will get placement in core (petroleum) companies and 90% of students will be placed in computer Science based companies. The highest packages are offered by wetherford drilling company. Applied petroleum engineering with specialisation in upstream is one of the best branch of upes.

Satisfactory college in terms of placement, amazing environment to study and explore.

Placements: UPES offers around 90% placement in its computer Science courses. Placement team is quite satisfactory as they focus on each and every student. My senior batch had 5 out of 7 students placed and the remaining two chooses for further studies. One of my seniors was selected as the legal executive in lean apps company in Pune.

Placements: The placement is quite good in our college. Especially for cit branches. This year average is around 4 lk per annum for cit branches. On the other hand other branches have average placements. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Reliance etc. Came this year for recruiting students.

Placements average, faculty bad, fees high.

Placements: The placements are average. 70% of Senior batch placed with package between 3lakh to 7lakh per annum. Average greater than 10lakh in non-cit (non CS branch) is rare. In CS maximum package is till 20 Lacs for extremely good students sometimes but the number of students in CS is increasing so chances are rare. The internship in CS from college is very limited and bad.

A huge campus with high fees which is not worthy.

Placements: Placement here is good. Many companies come and also give jobs to many students with a good package. This college has almost 99% placement record, by the end all the students are placed. If anyone wants to take placement according to their wish, for them the grades are very important. And the most of the students are placed in mass recruitment only.

Large amount of fees, less facilities and least placements.

Placements: Due to large number of branches in mechanical domain, the importance for ADE branch (companies prefer mechanical branch) is diminishing. Only 50 percent of the 2018 branch is placed and only 30 percent of the batch is placed in core domain. There is a placement cell whose interaction with our branch is too miniscule.

Placements: The placement is at an average level. The students who got placed earlier were non-IT students. Few students got placed in core companies, they are not that bad companies too. Few companies like Dell, HP and other companies visit the college for placements. So, the placements here are a kind of above average.

Placements: Placements are not that much good, and it is not worthy. If it comes to ROI in a BBA, then all the streams of BBA are having the same course structure and only changes the pattern in semester wise of either stream. There is no practical learning, and the worst internships are very expensive.
