Having a good time at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology.
Placements: Almost 80 to 90% of students were placed in MCA courses. Companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, Mindtree, etc. visited our college for placement. The highest package is 8–9 LPA, and the lowest range is between 5 and 7 LPA every year. All students got internships from the college.
Infrastructure: A computer lab with high-performance computers and a projector; access to software tools for research and development. The whole college has Wi-Fi enabled, and the classroom is highly advanced in terms of technology. There is a big central library on the campus with 5K to 10K books.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and highly qualified, and they all are Ph.D. scholars, and some of them are also professors. Their teaching style is different from that of other college teachers. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. The MCA course provides comprehensive training in software, programming languages, project development, and problem-solving knowledge to prepare the student for campus.
Other: Choosing MCA after BCA from a tier 3 college offers an opportunity to explore the campus and enjoy university life. Despite tier 3, MCA courses provide a pathway to fulfill your dream in software development and project management. There are many festivals held at the university; among them, the main annual festival is Vassaunt x Samavesh, which is held in the month of March. Scholarships are provided by the state government, but it depends on you whether you are eligible or not.

Our college is very good, but nowadays it seems to be a corrupted environment, especially the MCA.
Placements: Nearly 10 students got placed in our course because the college doesn't focus on placements for MCA department. The average salary packages offered in our course. The top recruiting companies may or may not visit the campus as our college focus more on B.Tech students. The college imposes more rules and regulations for MCA students, which is not good. The average salary packages are offered in our course, but in college, the MCA course fee is very high compared to all other departments. The college doesn't provide internships, so students get internships in private companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides old syllabus, and there is no Wi-Fi facility here, but central internet facilities are available. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with high security. But the library, classrooms, labs, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are not good, and they are manageable.
Faculty: Our department faculty members are not good because they are not friendly and not have good behaviour. Only 2 to 3 faculty members have good knowledge, but others don't have knowledge about the study or in other things. They will say that they will cut the marks of any student. There are enough teachers.
Other: Our college has a good environment, has a good location as it is located near Sambalpur, but it is not efficiently developed because of not good people.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Faculty members may need to upgraded. But love the environment.
Placements: There is an exam conducted by the university for students to be allowed in campus placements. VSSUT provides placement in Deloitte, PhonePe, Reliance Jio, Tata, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and many more companies. Around 50–60% of students are placed on campus.
Infrastructure: MCA had a different department, but from this year onward, MCA is merged into the CSE department. There were 39 seats in total, which is good. The first year is going to be theory-based, and from the second year, you can join internships. Hostels are good. Some hostels have Wi-Fi provided, but you have to connect your own router.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but there are lots of assignments. The marking system for semester exams is good. It's like this: semester exam—50, mid-semester exam—30, and assignments and attendance—20. I love the campus. A lab is also available, and if you have your own laptop, a desk is also provided in the lab.
Other: Seniors are helpful. I am a BCA student, and I got a good rank, so that's why I joined for an MCA. The fee is a little high: 70,000 for the course and 48,000 for the hostel in one year, and you have to pay all at one time.

Our college has satisfied the infrastructure and facilities, but there are no good faculty members.
Placements: About 30% of the students got placed previously. The highest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered may 3.0 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Infosys and Accenture are the top recruiters, and the top roles offered in our course may include software developers or tester, which depend on the recruitment. The salary package offered in our course is 3.7 LPA. Internships are not offered in this course, and it depends on you to do internships.
Infrastructure: The course was nice but not perfect as there are no Wi-Fi facility and smart classrooms. The central library is good, and the labs are also good, but not very good. Now, the facilities in the hostel are very good, and the food served here is delicious. Our college contains everything for gaming and also sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified from top universities and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good enough, but not all staff members. Especially some teachers are very good. This course is good, but the facilities provided in it are not very good.
Other: I like to be a software developer, so I chose this course. The best part of this course is it helps in developing different kinds of programs, which makes things very good. I wish that there should be more practicals than the theory papers so that every student can understand about the course. You get scholarships here, and the fest organised here is nice, and you enjoy everything. I enjoyed a lot, and my friends and everything is going well.
