- Registration
Visit the official website of the University of Calicut to apply online. On the homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. Click on the registration link under "Calicut University Common Admissions Test". Generate a CAP ID (Central Admission Process ID). Enter your name, phone number and email ID. Once the details are entered, a CAP ID and a security key will be generated. Log in by entering the CAP ID and password, which will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and phone through SMS.
- Fill Application Form
Once registered, the students have to fill out the CUCAT application form by entering their personal and academic details. These details will include name, mobile number, address, Class 10 marks, Class 12 marks, school name, undergrad marks (if applying for PG courses) and Parent/ Guardian details.
- Upload Images
Once the details are entered, upload documents such as passport-size photograph, signature and Aadhar Card. Select the college and course you are interested in applying for. The candidates can view the options and select accordingly.
- Payment of Fee
The next part is to pay the CUCAT application fee. This can be done by the following means.

During the payment, the website will be redirected to the University of Calicut Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) page where the student can select the desired choice of payment. Students must note that once the payment is done and the application form submitted, the fee will be non-refundable.

CUCAT 2025 Admit Card
CUCAT Admit Card 2025 will be released on the official website of the exam. Notably, it will be released subject-wise. CUCAT admit cards are released at least 15 days prior to the entrance exams of the respective subjects. On it, students will find important information like the exam centre location, reporting time, time of the exam, exam day guidelines, etc. The examinees must carry a printout of their admit cards to the exam centres.
