NIT Meghalaya 2017 Cutoff was released for different B.Tech. courses. The ranks were released as Opening and Closing for a few rounds, for different categories under the AI and HS quotas. According to the NIT Meghalaya General AI Cutoff, the most competitive course was Computer Science and Engineering. The closing ranks for CSE were 15775 and 23157, for Round 1 and the Last Round, respectively. NIT Meghalaya Cutoff 2017 for General All India Category

The NIT Meghalaya Cutoff was released for the General AI category candidates. The most competitive course as per the Cutoff was Computer Science and Engineering. The closing ranks for CSE for Round 1 and the Last round were 15775 and 23157. The most competitive course after CSE was Electronics and Communication Engineering. For ECE, the ranks closed at 20555 and 29448 for Round 1 and Last Round, respectively.

NIT Meghalaya Cutoff 2017 for OBC All India Category

For OBC AI category candidates, the toughest course was Computer Science and Engineering. The closing ranks for CSE were 5708 and 7061, for Round 1 and Last Round, respectively. The competition was the least in Civil Engineering as compared to other courses. The Round-1 and the last-round closing ranks for CE were 7626 and 11460, respectively. 

Q:   What has been the cutoff trend for CSE at NIT Meghalaya in last few years?

A:

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at NIT Meghalaya has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 18501. In 2023, it increased to 19175. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from
24759 to 6137 for OBC 68411 to 3133 for SC 640 to 1025 for ST 2843 to 3077 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Q:   What is the JEE Main Round 6 opening and closing rank for Computer Science Engineering at NIT Meghalaya?

A:

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 16663 and closing rank was 19175 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25776 and 34378. Admission to Computer Science Engineering in NIT Meghalaya is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Q:   What is the minimum GATE score for NIT Meghalaya?

NIT Meghalaya accepts GATE score for admission to the M.Tech courses. As per the NIT Meghalaya M.Tech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for M.Tech ranged between 356 and 424, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. For a few of the M.Tech sepcialisations, the cutoff stands closed after Round 1, 2 and 3. As per the last year cutoff data, the minimum GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya was 356 for M.Tech in CSE.

The Cutoff ranks for NIT Meghalaya for the ST AI category candidates are tabulated below. The toughest course was CSE with closing ranks of 526 for Round 1 and the last round, respectively. The competition was less in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as compared to the other courses. NIT Meghalaya Cutoff 2017 for PWD All India Category

The NIT Meghalaya Cutoff was released for PWD AI category candidates. The ranks were released for the Electronics and Communication Engineering course. The closing ranks for ECE were 911 and 2683, for Round 1 and Last Round, respectively.

A:

The NIT Meghalaya MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 1321 and 1662 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Meghalaya must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

Q:   What is the cutoff rank for BTech CSE in NIT Meghalaya?

A:

The 2023 cutoff for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was 25978, which was the least competetive specialisations offered by NIT Nagaland.  The cutoff for the year 2022 was 17921 and for the year 2021 it was 24041. As per the date it concludes that cutoff for 2023 is higher compare to the previous two years, which indicates the rise in demand of the CSE course.

Q:   What is the cutoff for MSc at NIT Meghalaya?

A:

MSc seat allocation for MSc is done via the CCMN counselling. Candidates must participate in the CCMN counselling where they release cutoff for selection of students. The CCMN Counselling 2023 for the three specialisations was concluded after Round 5. The CCMN R1 (Closing Rank) in Physics stood at 1746, in Mathematics it was 1475, and finally in Chemistry it was 1539 for 2023. The highest rank was in Physics, which indicates a very tough competition for the particular specialisations compare to other.

Q:   How many marks are necessary for admission to B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at NIT Meghalaya?

For admission in B.Tech mechanical engineering you have to clear JEE. The cuttoff varies as per the year in the year 22 batch they got at 95 even (general) if you are from categories like OBC/sc/st  it vary even up to 90/87/85. As in the same pattern, the cuttoff for female candidate is different.

Admission requirements can vary from year to year and depend on various factors like students appering inJEEand no of seats avilable in collages. Few other factors like candidates droping from the college.
