High placement success, strong internships, diverse roles, and competitive packages.
Placements: Out of 300 students in the computer science batch, around 270 were placed. All 300 students were interned somewhere near the college. There are very high placement chances. Almost 90% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered by Justpay is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, TEOCO, etc. IBM and Oracle provide a high salary package of 29 LPA. The highest salary package is offered by Juspay. Top roles offered are SDA - II, AI engineer, junior cloud engineer, and RPA developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with bathrooms, self-operated classrooms with very good projectors, and a dedicated central lab with centralised air conditioners for students in the computer science department. Wi-Fi is available to use. There are three 24X7 operation libraries. The food quality is average as per students living there. There is a medical room available for people who are suffering from fever or injury. There are new machines installed which are fully automated and can be used for drinks, candies, bars, etc. CCD is also available.
Faculty: Our faculty members are experienced and active at almost any time of the year. They always tend to help their students facing difficulties in higher studies or give internship opportunities. The course curriculum is very relevant as per the latest AICTE guidelines which eventually make students industry experts. Semester exams are a headache for all students. A dedicated 2-month period is provided for exams.
Other: I chose this college because of its high demand and high placement rates throughout Kolkata and better than any other private college in East India. The acceptance rate through exams is pretty low for computer science since the seats fill up very fast. People tend to choose this institute after Jadavpur and sometimes prefer IEM instead of Jadavpur. The tech fest known as Smart Maker's Festival is the greatest tech fest the college offers in collaboration with other IITs and IIITs.

About the college Institute of Engineering & Management.
Placements: Top companies visit here, and a variety of classes are taken by the faculty for placement purposes from the 2nd year onwards. The college has very good placements; approximately 80% of students get placed every year. Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed every year. The average package is INR 5.5 LPA. Oracle and EQ Teach are two top companies that pay well.
Infrastructure: The hostel has a very strict discipline. It doesn't allow students to move out after 6:30 for girls' hostels and 7 for boys' hostels. CSE is considered the best branch in IEM. For that, you need to score less than 2000 rank in WBJEE. Apart from that, ECE is also one of the best branches.
Faculty: Exams are going on throughout the year: 2 mid-sem exams, practical exams, and then finally end-sem exams. The Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) in Kolkata, India, accepts several exams for admission to different courses: IEMJEE: The IEMJEE exam is used for admission to various courses at IEM. The exam pattern for the B.Tech course is similar to the JEE Main exam. The exam is conducted online in three slots.
Other: Fests take place like the IEM cultural fest, tech fest, INNOVATION, and also some extracurricular activities.

Engineering college honest review.
Placements: According to the data, it says 90%, but from what I saw, it's about 60% placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Average salary was 8 LPA. Top recruiters were TCS and Infosys. Placements are good compared to other colleges, but the strength and competition are increasing day by day.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work, labs are there, and the classroom holds a capacity of 100 students. The smart boards are holder versions. The library is open 24/7. I don't live in a hostel, but as per my friends, the women's hostel is not good; the food quality is average. And the canteen is good. PE is done, but no proper space or playground.
Faculty: Exams are always going on. 2 midterms, 1 sessional, and 1 sem exam. Most of the time, faculty members are unable to finish their syllabus. The teaching is average, but exceptions are there. Semester exams are medium. If you study the notes provided, you'll be able to crack it.
Other: Fests are there but very few compared to other colleges. The campus is not so big, but it's okay. It almost feels like school. Proper 9-5 college time. No leaving college. Always have to wear a uniform, etc. College offers extracurricular activities, but all after college hours, so most of the students don't take part.

Institutie of engineering and management review
Placements: The percentage placed of students is quite good and about 80% to 90% students get placed in companies like TCS , cognizant, tech mahindra, wipro. The average placement package is around 7 to 8 lpa and highest is around 70lpa. And if someone just want to come here for placement then I highly recommend this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very poor I can literally compare it with my school even I say my school is much bigger than it. The faculty are quite comparative with students and the wifi of the campus is just hell it always get disconnected in just some minutes.
Faculty: Course curriculum I say that is not much relevant to the up to date industry requirements students have to built it own my themself. And the exams and semester are quite harder on the other hand. If you want to pass the exam you have to study it properly but college is quite strict regarding academic.
Other: College is totally missing here. And same with the sports and extracurricular activities they doesn't get any priority in the college. For college sports is just a formality.

A Good Institute for education at the cost of a very strict campus life.
Placements: Not sure exactly, but about 95% of the students were placed in my course. Top recruiting companies include Amazon, Oracle, and Adobe. The highest package offered according to me was above 30 LPA (Amazon) with the lowest package being 3 LPA. Our college did not help the students with internships and the students got internships solely on their own merit.
Infrastructure: We had two different campuses. The first year’s classes were conducted in one campus and the other three years we had classes in the other campus (though it’s at a walking distance). We had dedicated computer labs, Library, Classrooms with projectors along with an Electronics lab. We also had a dedicated games room but it was nothing fancy, just a large auditorium with some T.T. tables and carrom boards. We did have a basketball court. Quality of food was good. We had our own canteen and a medical center as well.
Faculty: Teachers were really helpful and knowledgeable. We got hands-on learning experience. Semester exams were of moderate difficulty level. Passing percentage was 40%. In the first year, some subjects did not seem much relevant like environment studies. Though it’s an important subject but it does not have any direct relevance with Computer Science engineering. We had coding challenges and competitions. We could participate in hackathons.
