IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025: Check Category Wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of round 6 of the JoSAA counselling process to offer admission to several BTech course specialisations. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for multiple All India categories, like the General, OBC, SC, ST, etc. This institute accepts the JEE Advanced cutoff results, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. 

For the General All India category candidates, the overall cutoff varied between 5988 and 18156. According to the last round, the most competitive course for enrolment was BTech CSE, with a cutoff of 6651. The same course had a first-round closing rank of 5988. IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 For General All India Category 

For the General AI category, IIT Jammu BTech cutoff 2025 ranged from 5988 to 15597 in the first round. In the last round, the cutoff varied from 6651 to 18156. Among all the specialisations offered, the most competitive one for IIT Jammu admission was BTech CSE. Other highly sought-after courses in the last round were Mathematics and Computing, followed by Electrical Engineering. These courses had the last round cutoff at 8559 and 11399, respectively. IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category 

According to the JEE Advanced cutoff for the OBC AI category, the most and least competitive courses in the first round were BTech in Computer Science and Engineering and BTech in Materials Engineering, with the round 1 closing cutoff of 2594 and 5606, respectively. 

By the last round, both courses saw a considerable increase in their qualifying ranks, with CSE last round rank being 2736 and Materials Engineering having a cutoff of 6153. Students can refer to the table below to see the round 1 and last round closing ranks of all other available courses.

IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category 

For this category, the most accessible BTech course branches in the last round were Materials Engineering, closely followed by Engineering Physics and Chemical Engineering. The last round cutoffs for these specialisations were 3346, 3265 and 3142, respectively.

IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 For ST All India Category 

Compared to the OBC and SC categories, competition for the students in the ST All India category was tougher, as the closing ranks were lower for most specialisations. For this category, the most popular branches were CSE with a last round cutoff of 771.

Students who could not opt for this course due to its competitive nature can also go for other specialisations with slightly more relaxed final round cutoffs, like Electrical Engineering (1058) or Mathematics and Computing (1179). For more details, see the table below.

IIT Jammu Cutoff 2025 For EWS All India Category

The overall JoSAA counselling cutoff ranged from 811 to 2665 for admission at IIT Jammu. Students need to secure a rank of at least 1015 or below to gain admission to the most competitive course, ie, BTech CSE. This same course had a cutoff of 811 in round 1.

Similarly, other highly competitive programmes were BTech in Mathematics and Computing and BTech in Electrical Engineering, with the last round cutoffs of 1428 and 1812, respectively. For more information, candidates can refer to the table below.
