Very good social as well as professional life. Faculties are helpful. Not promising infrastructure.
Placements: In the year 2023, the placement was not that good. Only 60% of students were placed, but 8 students secured under 100 rank in the GATE exams. The highest package offered was 16.5 LPA, the lowest was 5.5 LPA, and the average package touched 8 LPA. The top companies were Vedanta, Aditya Birla Group, Jindal Power Limited, and Shree Cements. Only 1 student grabbed an internship in JSPL with a stipend of 80,000 for 2 months.
Infrastructure: The department does not have Wi-Fi facilities, but it possesses various labs to give practical experience, such as the Rock Mechanics lab, Environment lab, IoT lab, Machines lab, etc. There are 3 classrooms in the department and a library. There are a total of 29 hostels as of now, and 2 more are in the construction phase. Every hostel is different in infrastructure based on the year in which it was made. The quality of food in the mess is good. There is food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. A canteen, Nescafe, etc., are also present on the campus for nice food. Time-to-time sports events are conducted in which various games are played, and every student can take part.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful, and almost all of them have a Doctorate degree. The teaching quality is good, but you have to be open to asking doubts for concept understanding. You should have good core knowledge and a better understanding to secure good marks in semester exams. The passing percentage in semester exams is 85%.
Other: All types of technical, cultural, and sports events are conducted every year at different times. The campus is huge, and there are a lot of things to explore. People here mainly come from Jharkhand, but they bring different cultures along with them and have a mutual sense of respect. You can apply for the E-Kalyan scholarship if you are not from the general category and come from a poor family.

Placements: In our college, the recently passed batch has 90 percent and above students placed. The highest package is above 25 LPA, the lowest package is 5 to 6 LPA, and the average package is 10 to 12 LPA. Our campus hosts visits from many reputed companies such as Vedanta, TATA Steel, JSW, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities available on our campus, such as medical. The infrastructure is good; our department has a smart lab and classrooms. Our campus has hostel facilities with Wi-Fi, and a mess is also available. Our college has a cafeteria and Nescafe.
Faculty: Yes, professors are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful to the students anywhere and anytime. Our college is affiliated with JUT, Ranchi Board, and there are 2 mid-semester and 1 end-semester exam; however, the condition is to pass in both exams individually. Passing marks are 33%.
Other: In our college, many fests, seminars, webinars, and quizzes are conducted for the students. Many clubs are available for students to enhance their skills and connect with others.

This college is good for those who can't afford huge money for their education .
Placements: Approximately 70–85% of students have been placed every year in all the branches. The average salary is near 7 LPA for all branches and the highest salary for this year is 18 LPA. But for my branch, the average package is 8 LPA and the highest package is 16.5 LPA given by Vedanta.
Infrastructure: This college is a government-funded college so we can expect to much in infrastructure but this college has something better than expectations and has proper hostels and electric facilities but it doesn't have free Wi-Fi; you have to purchase your own.
Faculty: This college has all highly educated professors for our help and they have a venomous type of knowledge to help in every field. According to NEP 2020, many more subjects have been added to make everyone compatible in every field and introduce many more courses, like CAD.
Other: As this college is in Jharkhand, Dhanbad, it is a coal hub for our country, and this college also provides a better placement in this field, so for such benefits, I chose this branch.

Placements: Choosing the best college as per your Rank is tough. This review will give insights of BIT Sindri, Dhanbad. At first, the admission is based on JEE Main and the branch will differ as per your Rank. This year (2023) the JEE percentile varied from 98.68 to 88.03 for Reserved category. But if you have some quota like OBC/SC/ST/EWS you can take admission with a low percentile. Talking about the most exciting part, that is the placements it is really good I like BITs because of the return of Investment here. The highest package is of 45 LPA, the avg package is 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Samsung, Amazon, Vedanta, Tatasteel, Aditya Birla, TCS, and a lot other. The best part is about internship, Students get hundred of internship opportunities. This year many of our seniors got internships by various companies. Almost every branch is offered by the college. You can choose it as per your choice. As of me best branches of BIT are Mining, CSE, IT, ECE, EE, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Mental, Production etc. I hope this will help you.
Infrastructure: College campus is pretty good to explore. Every essential facilities are available in the campus. There are two library one is of College which has lacs of book for academic studies and one is by a club which has comics, Manga's, Novels other personal development books. Mess 8 out of 10. Two canteens are here. Two grounds available with basketball and volleyball court.
Faculty: Teachers in first year are good to complete your first year syllabus. You will enjoy the department teacher who will prepare your industrial knowledge. If you study consistently you can pass the semester exams easily. Just you have to complete the syllabus but if you are serious about your CGPA then have to work hard.
Other: If you are a Student who wants to try everything in his college life, then BIT Sindri should be one of your choice. There are lot of Clubs in the college and they offer you lot of opportunities to try. Also if you are good in any sports you can go to different colleges and compete.

Birsa Institute of Technology - A premier institute in Jharkhand.
Placements: The batch size for my branch was 60. The highest package was 16.5 LPA by Vedanta. The average package was 8.1 LPA. The placement percentage was almost above 80%. Some prominent recruiters included Vedanta, JSL, Samsung, Tata Steel, Tata Power, Adani Enterprises, Aditya Birla Group, and ACC Cement.
Infrastructure: The hostel life was good, although there was no Wi-Fi. The mess food was tasty, and the college had a canteen, gym, medicinal clinic, and sports ground. The departments had well-equipped laboratories with all the instruments working properly. Overall, my experience was good, especially on the faculty learning side.
Faculty: The faculty are very supportive in all aspects of my studies, including academics, scholarships, internships, and research and development. The course curriculum is updated according to the new education policy and is relevant to industry demand. Exams are not a source of stress here.

BIT-Sindri does not take admission on the basis of JEE Main score. It has its own exam called JCECE and students are admitted on the basis of score in it. So, if you want admission here, then please appear for JCECE exam. Last date for application form submission is 25 may and exam date is 5
