Maharashtra's top college for core placement is also renowned for its civil engineering department.
Placements: Many students in our batch have experienced the challenges of studying during the COVID-19 pandemic and attending online lectures for the past two years. As a result, it was a difficult task to ensure that every student was prepared for the industry. However, the training and placement cell at COEP College took proactive measures by providing training and coaching sessions for interviews, group discussions, and technical rounds starting in the 5th semester. Additionally, the college arranged reputed and rigorous internships for each student, which required weekly reporting. As a result of these efforts, 80% of the civil engineering batch successfully secured placements. The remaining students who were not interested in placements opted to join companies such as L&T, IRB, Godrej, Shapoorji Palanji, Tata Infra, and JCB, which came for core placements and offered salary packages ranging from 8 LPA to 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, this college has offered top-notch facilities to each department. The laboratories are equipped with precise, well-maintained, and digital instruments that are constantly monitored, enhancing students' practical knowledge. The classrooms resemble auditoriums, and the library houses a wide range of reference books, accessible to students without any limitations.
Faculty: Teachers are highly skilled and qualified, with backgrounds in MPSC and holding Ph.D. degrees. They possess both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the industry. They also encourage students to pursue M.Tech. programs at foreign universities. However, in certain cases, we must abide by their decisions due to the autonomy of the college, which may result in the failure of specific students if the teachers do not favor them. Students who come from a strong educational background, such as those who excel in Polytechnic Diploma or are MH-CET toppers, have a higher success rate. To make the curriculum more industry-oriented, it would be beneficial to include practical subjects like software applications such as STAAD Pro, CAD, Revit, etc.
Other: My decision to pursue this course is driven by my desire to work on infrastructure projects within this country. It is a personal choice that I have made based on the reputation of this college. Additionally, I aim to enhance the course curriculum by incorporating software subjects into civil engineering, as I believe it will greatly benefit my future career prospects. The college also organizes various events and festivals, which further contribute to its esteemed reputation.

It is the best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: Almost 80-90% of students got placed in our course last year. Almost 50% of students got placed in core companies. Almost 40% of students got placed in IT and consultancy companies. The highest salary package offered by the core company is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.75 LPA. The highest package offered by IT and consultancy companies is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The top recruiting company for the core was L&T, for IT was KPIT, and for consultancy was ZS Associates. Almost 50% of students got internships in local companies like PPS and TCE. The top role offered was site manager.
Infrastructure: In the civil department, there are a lot of facilities like free Wi-Fi, a projector in each classroom, and one common library in the college. Our hostel has good facilities like free Wi-Fi, hot water for a bath, drinking water, etc. The food served in the mess is good and affordable. They provide a variety of food items. There is one small clinic in the hostel but generally, the doctor is absent. A playground is available on the hostel campus.
Faculty: All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They have good knowledge in their respective fields. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum does not include industry exposure to students. Students are lacking in practical knowledge. Semester exams are not much difficult. But the syllabus is vast for 2 and 3 years. Rarely someone fails in any subject except the RCC subject in 3rd year, where each year, 5-10 students get backlog.
Other: The best thing about our course is our faculty members because they are very good and give good marks to students. There is very less burden of attendance for a civil branch. Our college should include an industrial visit in the curriculum. Our college is the best. Our college has plenty of clubs. Events and fest are held in our college. Our campus is good with a big main building in the center and the boat club, which is the unique thing about the college. Our college's alumni association offers many scholarships to students. Government scholarships are also available for students.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: I am in my first year. But still, I quite have an idea of how the placement works here. The average package is 700,000, the highest is 3700000, and the lowest is 300,000. Big companies like Byju's and Akash Institute come for recruitment. 80% of students have gotten internships till now.
Infrastructure: A huge campus is there. Cleanliness is there; every other book related to study is available in the library, but there should be books other than studies too. Being a reader, I felt that. Labs have almost every piece of apparatus and equipment that is needed. Classrooms are clean. Wi-Fi is available in the college but not at great range in hostels. Hostels are clean and neat. Mess food is okay. There is a gym and a doctor in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are greatly qualified and well known. Some professors teach with heart but some make me question whether it is worth coming here or not. Academics are good but not the best; they should work on it. They need to have 3 different exams in one single semester.
Other: Suddenly, they increased their fees. How is it supposed to be a government college, then? There are almost more than 50 clubs, which cover every category like tech fests, start-ups, sports, water sports, racing cars, and cultural things.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: There are good placements. This year, more than 1000 placements are provided to many students. We need a CGPA of 7.5 to 8.0 to get jobs. Companies will visit the college beginning in the fourth year. However, fewer companies come for core branches than IT branches. Megha offered a salary package of 2.4 LPA. Around 15% of students got placed in that company.
Infrastructure: Everything was well facilitated. The library had every book that a student needed, and classrooms were good. Most hostels were clean and served high-quality food. Other facilities like medical care, sports, and the canteen were good.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and professional. They helped every student. They never humiliated someone. Semester exams were difficult, but the pass percentage was more than 90%.

Proud to learn from here, One of the best time here I spend.
Placements: In my opinion, this college is comparable to an IIT college in terms of its reputation, strong alumni network, and faculty members with industrial backgrounds. They have been guiding us since our second year to secure placements in companies such as L&T, IRB, Tata Infra, Shapurji Palanji, Adani Infra, and more. These companies offer positions as project and site engineers with packages ranging from 6 LPA to 10 LPA. Based on our performance, we have also been able to secure internships at reputable companies, and these internships are not just for certification purposes.
Infrastructure: The construction style from the British era exudes a sense of aesthetics that one can learn from. Each department has its own building and campus, providing a spacious environment. Located in the heart of Pune, the campus offers a wide range of testing machines similar to those found in IIT colleges. Students can easily operate these instruments to achieve the best outcomes in their projects. Additionally, the campus offers a mess with a variety of food options and well-maintained girls' hostel buildings, creating a pleasant living experience.
Faculty: The construction style from the British era exudes a unique aesthetic that offers valuable lessons for the department. Each department has its own building and campus, providing ample space. Located in the heart of Pune, the campus is expansive and equipped with a wide range of testing machines similar to those found in IIT colleges. Students can handle these instruments to achieve the best outcomes in their projects. Additionally, there is a mess facility offering various food options, including a cafeteria zone. The girls' hostel buildings are well-maintained, creating a pleasant living environment.
Other: I opted for this course because it aligns with my aspiration to become an executive engineer in government. Coep serves as a complementary platform to bring me closer to achieving my dream. The significant level of festivity and games organized is made possible by the generous support of sponsors.
