Good Placement, Clubs, and Decent Faculty. Loved it.
Placements: Since I am in the mechanical branch, fewer students are placed, as the majority of students prefer to do Masters abroad, such as in Germany. The highest for mechanical was 14 LPA and the lowest was somewhere around 6 LPA. Generally, most students got the internship, as there is a compulsory internship provided to students in their fourth year of graduation. To be specific about the roles offered, they were majorly on the industrial side.
Infrastructure: As for my mechanical department, there are specific workshops available on the campus, which are well-equipped with the machines required. There is also a CAD lab for learning AutoCAD and other mechanical software. Talking about Wi-Fi, it's decent—not so fast but manageable. The classrooms are good; they could have been better if attached with AC. The library is also full of all the books required in academics. Talking about the college hostel, it's pretty expensive, and the food they offer is decent, can’t say it’s good. Well, there are 3 canteens in the college which offer various food, shakes, drinks, and some of the food is pretty good and tasty. Talking about sports, you will get a club for the majority of sports, and they also have the equipment needed to play.
Faculty: Here in my batch, I found most of the teachers helpful and supportive, as they helped us in our projects, assignments, and told us where we were going wrong. The teachers are highly qualified, having more than 15 years of experience, and many of them have written research papers. I find the course to be relevant, and they have also added subjects like reasoning and general proficiency to make students better and have nice social skills. Talking about the exams, I would say they are moderate; if you study well, you will definitely score good. Just don’t keep it for the last moment.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering over other branches as I had very little interest in coding, so I dropped the idea of joining software branches. I also had an interest in designing and cars, therefore I chose mechanical. I wish there were more practical knowledge and the faculty could be improved. Yes, the college has many fests going on throughout the year, and you will find an event every month. Events like Vishwautsav, Vishwakarndak are the main events. Talking about the crowd, it's decent, and the seniors here are very helpful and loving. Connectivity is good, you get bus transportation available to transport in the city. The campus is a bit small but manageable. Joining various clubs would be an option for extracurricular activities. You will learn more here.

The life at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
Placements: The percentage of the students that get placed through the campus placements is about 90%, i.e., almost every student here is placed. The top recruiting companies that visit our campus are Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, etc. Also, most of the students opt for Masters. The highest package here is about 10 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA. The college also provide lots of internship opportunities in the first year of the course itself.
Infrastructure: The college hostels are not so good as the infrastructure is not well developed yet. The hostel does not provide lunch; only breakfast and dinner are available here but the quality of the food is not that good. You can opt for many other private hostels in the nearby area that provide other facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum here is really appreciable, as it focuses more on practical knowledge than just theoretical knowledge. The faculty here is really good, has a kind nature and is always ready to solve our problems, whether they are academic or personal.
Other: The thing that I wish would be better is the infrastructure of the canteens. Also, there is an issue related to parking. As the college campus is small, there is not enough parking space, which makes the makes the campus crowded. The fests that are held here are really amazing, as they provide various opportunities for the students to showcase their talent in various extracurricular fields.

Satisfied, you will get placement, experienced faculty, good fests, and everything else.
Placements: Placements in VIT are good if you get it, you will probably get placement at the end. I completed my mechanical engineering degree at VIT. About 70% of students get placed every year and most of the remaining go for higher studies. The highest package offer for mechanical engineering is 13 LPA by Ansys, followed by Varroc with 11 LPA. The average package offer in VIT for mechanical engineering is 5.5 LPA. And for CS, it is an 8–9 LPA on an average and the highest salary is 52 LPA. Top recruiters are Ansys, Varroc, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, Dassault, Eaton, etc. Almost all the students from vit who got internships, weather it were paid or unpaid, will get easily. Around 200 companies are there for internships, but all do not offer PPO .
Infrastructure: The campus of vit is very small as compared to other colleges, so keep your expectations low. Vit doesn't have hostel so you need to find PGs or flats so that is the main drawback that we need to find out. The college grounds are also very small but you will be able to spend very quality time there, and all the sports teams are very good. In terms of classrooms and labs, they are adequate, with Wi-Fi, computers, and a well-stocked library with a wide range of books available. The canteen of Vit is a little bit more expensive than others; options are also limited and there is no good mess around VIT.
Faculty: As I completed mechanical, all the faculty members are very experienced. They have 20+ years of experience in teaching, so you can get everything that you demand from them. They have very good knowledge about their respective subjects and latest projects. They will guide you based on the current needs of the industry. And also, exams are very easy; you will get an 80/20 pattern, with only 20 marks weighted for written exams and remaining for PPT, CVV, HA, and GD, so you can easily prepare for your exams in 5–6 days.

Review of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
Placements: We have so many good opportunities to grow and excel in this world. Approximately 25% of students are placed. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships at Tata Motors and many other companies. The top role offered is a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the required facilities available. The building may appear to be quite old from the outside, but it appears completely different on the inside. We have a well-maintained library. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Our classrooms are very large.
Faculty: Our teachers are very talented and experienced. The quality of teaching is excellent. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. Our college organises festivals on campus. The most famous festival in our college is GRAVITAS.

Best college for practical learning.
Placements: Vit has good placement for my branch and one of the highest packages offered here is 15 LPA. And it is mandatory to do an internship in the 3rd or 4th year, and it is up to the student whether to choose it on the college campus or outside the college. Companies like Mercedes, Mahindra, Tata, etc. come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The mechanical department has a special building that contains every lab and instrument required. Canteen food is also good and there is a medical checkup every semester. I'm a day scholar so I don't know much about hostels, but according to some students, they are not that good and they are at a distance from college. So I would recommend living in a PG or renting a flat.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of the college; they are very knowledgeable and always help if students have any difficulties. Teachers are highly qualified and have good teaching experience and they teach not just theory but also labs and tutorial lectures .
Other: I love machines so I chose mechanical engineering and the college has various clubs to enhance the learning experience. Just some parts of the building need to be improved. But overall, everything in VIT Pune is full of fun and good learning experience .

Q:   Is VIT Pune good for MCA?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the strengths and weaknesses of VIT Pune for pursuing Master of Computer Applications (MCA):

Strengths:

* Good Placement Record: The college has a reputation for providing decent placements, with many students getting recruited by top companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, and others.
* Experienced Faculty: The professors are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive, helping students build strong foundations in computer applications.
* Industry-Oriented Curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for real-world challenges, focusing on practical skills and projects.
* Autonomy: As an autonomous institution, VIT Pune has the freedom to design its own curriculum, allowing for flexibility and innovation.

Weaknesses:

* High Fees: Compared to other colleges, VIT Pune has relatively high fees, which might be a deterrent for some students.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
