It is an excellent college for academic purposes.
Placements: This is the first batch of the data science branch. Placements are not great as compared to the CSE branch. Few students got an average salary package of 15 LPA. Due to the recession, placements are not good. The placement cell is active.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. All facilities are decent. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratories are well-equipped. Our campus is fully air-conditioned. The library is well maintained. There is a playground for sports like cricket. We are not allowed to enter the ground unless we get selected for the college team. Mess is spacious and the food quality is very good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant. The syllabus is updated. Faculty members also provide study materials and PDFs during exams. It is easy to score well in exams if you attend classes regularly.
Other: There are 1200 students in our batch. Our campus crowd is average. Many opportunities are available for better placements. We must participate in many technical fests and hackathons to become industry-ready. Our campus life is great.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Many top companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary package offered this year is 44 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. The library and classrooms are decent. The hostel and its food are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. They always support students in any situation. There are many holidays in between exams so students can prepare well for the ongoing exams. There are two mid-exams and one-semester exam.

A Review that Helps You to Know About Our College - CVR College of Engineering
Placements: In our batch, 75% of the students got placed even during the recession period and the highest package offered was 33 Lacs per annum which was provided by Commvault. Top recruiting companies are Oracle, Accenture, PwC. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Most of the companies like Realpage offer internships of 15k per month and then provide full-time roles.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are good but there is no Wi-Fi connection in our class which is not at all acceptable. The library is good with a vast collection of books which covers all the books related to our syllabus. The hostel is below average with low-quality food but medical facilities are good and we have the best cricket ground but you are allowed to play only if you get selected in the college cricket team. Our college conducts Engineering Premier League where all the top colleges in our state participate in various sports like volleyball, football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified professors and are very helpful towards students but only the lab faculty are average and they just overreact. The course curriculum is exceptional and well-planned and relevant to the current industry trends. The semester exams are moderate where you can easily pass if you prepare the curriculum in a planned manner. 90% is the pass percentage.
Other: I had chosen Data Science as this is the latest booming industry in the market and students will have a lot of opportunities to secure a job. More of the latest Data Science tools practice labs would be helpful for our students to cope up with the latest competition. Our college will organize an annual fest named Ciencia every March or April. The fee to be paid by the students is 1,20,000 and I paid 0 rupees for the tuition fee as I was selected for the complete fee reimbursement scheme because I secured below 10,000 rank in EAMCET.

The college has good faculty, hostel and bus facilities too.
Placements: Companies like Amazon, Wipro, etc., recruited students in our college. I am not placed yet because I am currently pursuing my second year. Our seniors got placed mostly in campus placements. Even though being a private institution and is 20 years old, it does provide great placement offers.
Infrastructure: The library has many books related to our current subjects and also books related to the GATE examination. There is a cricket stadium and an indoor stadium. There is a canteen on the campus and the stone zone too. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Spacious rooms are available in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, highly qualified and experienced. They share their knowledge with students. If we ask them any doubts, they always help us out. The curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not much difficult.

Great placement record as per now
Placements: The college has been creating records year after year. In spite of a recession year with about 100 companies visiting CVR and above 1500 placements for the 2022-23 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. The average salary increased significantly to a new high. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 57,50,000 and several students got offers higher than Rs. 25 Lakhs. More than 100 students got offers higher than Rs. 10 Lakhs, a new record. About 300 offers are higher than Rs. 6 Lakhs. With this, CVR becomes one of the leading colleges in the state in terms of the offers with higher salaries. The placement percentage continues to be 100% for the past 6 years.
Infrastructure: The College is spread over a built-up area of over 36,000 sqm. on a sprawling 33-acre campus amidst verdant surroundings.

College promotes innovation as evidenced by filing 28 patents with financial support and incentives.
The College provides paid study leave for a period of 6 months three times during Ph.D., an allowance of Rs. 60,000 and an incentive of Rs. 25,000 at three stages of Ph.D. scholars. Digital Library/e-Resource access is provided to students and faculty members.
CVR Journal of Science & Technology was started in 2011 and publications in standard journals are encouraged. The Institution ensures implementation of code of ethics for research and more than 500 research papers have been published in SCOPUS and Web of Science Journals. 30 professors have been identified as guides/supervisors. The College organized 215 workshops/seminars on Research Methodology, IPR, Entrepreneurship and Skill Development over last 5 years.
