Really good infrastructure of the college.
Placements: Every year almost 50-70 percent of the students from multiple courses get placed to higher companies like Thermo Fisher Scientific, Merck, ACRO HR Solutions India Pvt. Ltd and Bio-Rad Laboratories etc. These companies offer both jobs as well as internships based on the performance of the students.
Infrastructure: Big classrooms with attached labs were available in each department. There are separate computer labs at each floor with free WIFI 24*7. Hostel offers rooms to top meritorious students of each courses and the quality of food and other facilities were very good.
Faculty: All the teachers were Ph.D. holders. They are ready to help at each and every step whenever required. The course syllabus is designed to cover all the topics of different competitive exams like NET and GATE. After qualifying these exams students are ready to join any industry they want.
Other: I chose Biochemistry because I want to go with a subject that provides me with both the theoretical as well as the practical knowledge. College organizes fests every year in the month of February and students throughout the university are allowed to take part in various activities.

It is the best and most well-known college at DU.
Placements: The highest salary offered ranges between Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month. Many good roles are offered to our course students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in biochemistry labs. All labs are well-maintained. It helps students to learn instant things with accurate things. The library is well-maintained with different books to study in your free time. Hostels are under renovation. All sports are good. We have an NSO class for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified from abroad and from the same college. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not much difficult. They are moderate for students to pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Our college holds the 10th position in top 10 colleges of DU. The department of chemistry and biochemistry is the best in terms of placements. Students must score 96% to get admission to this college.

I would recommend joining this college.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students get placements from previous batches in very good and top recruited companies. Top recruiting companies of our course include all those companies that give hands-on experience to lab work like Cipla. Lab researcher is the top-most role given to students of our course.
Infrastructure: Our college, as well as a hostel, has a very good infrastructure of more than 400 acres. All the departments, as well as their labs, have very good facilities including clean drinking water as well as smart classes. There is a very big sports complex behind the college that offers plenty of sports activities.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They not only provide the theoretical knowledge but give practical knowledge alongside. Semester exams are not much difficult as they are made by a team of very qualified teachers so that everyone can get good marks.
Other: I chose this course because it is practical-based. Every department organises fests in February which includes various innovative topics as well as competitions. In such events, students from all DU colleges are allowed to participate.

I am satisfied with this college because of the good teachers and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Every year, almost 50% of the students from various courses get placements to various top companies in India as well as foreign. Top recruiting companies for our course include Cipla, Aurobindo Pharma, and Lupin. Along with this almost 70% of the students get internships for lab work in hospitals like Apollo, Fortis, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college offers all kinds of facilities that are required for the well-being of a college-going student. All the labs are big with a seating capacity of about 70 students at a time. There is a two-floor library present in the college which issues almost five books at a time to each student.
Faculty: All the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and NET JRF qualifiers and are very helpful. They are always ready to help when needed either for lab work or assignment work. It is very easy to get passing marks in semester exams. During this pandemic time, college is offering open book exams for all students of all courses.
Other: I chose this course because it is very easy to get a job in medical laboratories and hospitals. Every year there is a college fest that takes place in February in which various top singers are invited.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members and good placements from the previous 4-5 years.
Placements: Every year almost 70% of the students from various courses get placement in various top recruiting companies. Companies like Bharat Biotech Private Limited, Serum Institute of India, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 70,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our whole department is fully air-conditioned along with a clean drinking water facility for all the students as well as teachers. The hostel contains beds for almost a thousand students and provides proper hygienic food three times a day. The hostel contains a special gym for all the students living there.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are PhD holders. They provide quality education. We have exams in May as well as December. The level of exams is average so that every student easily gets marks. Each paper consists of 150 marks, of which 50 marks are for practicals, and the rest are for written exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am a practical student and all the teachers are very helpful. Our department organises its own first every year in the month of March.

Sorry to say, but in DU, the cut-off for B.Sc in biotechnology is 79% to 96.5%. If you belong to SC/ST category then you can get admission.
