Very satisfied with the faculty and amazing infrastructure.
Placements: Almost all students get an internship if they have a good understanding of the professors and apply for internships. Mostly students either prepare for competitive exams or master’s after a BA Programme course, so I do not have proper information about the placements of my course.
Infrastructure: Mess food is above average, and the hostel is amazing. It is very clean and well managed. The only drawback is that it has a very limited number of rooms. However, the management and staff are very helpful. The crowd is mixed but welcoming. There aren't many sports facilities, but the canteen and infrastructure are amazing.
Faculty: The teachers are very try knowledgeable and helpful. The semester exams are a little difficult, but with regular studies, they are pretty doable. The course curriculum is very relevant and diverse. We are given proper choices in choosing our subjects .
Other: Amazing fests and societies. Air-conditioned classrooms, which in general are very rare in DU.

Review of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Deen Dayal College is very good at providing placements and training. There is a placement cell that usually takes care of all the placements and trains the students properly for the placements. Several big companies are visiting our college for placements and internships. Dristi IAS also visits our campus with some internship programs. Famous companies like Cisco, Wipro, etc., are also at the campus selection and we have good campus placement record.
Infrastructure: Deen Dayal College is the best college in terms of facilities. It provides several facilities, including fully air-conditioned classrooms equipped with projectors, a good classroom environment, a clean hostel, and clean and huge washrooms. It also has beautiful gardens, an affordable and hygienic canteen, restrooms, medical rooms, and girls' common rooms.
Faculty: I believe the faculty members are not so good, and I think the course curriculum is a bit unuseful and boring. I believe that being a student of B.A. program, we all expect to crack government exams. The course and the examination are not aligned in the same direction. Political Science should have faculty like Laksmikant, etc., in order to have a better course.
Other: Choosing B.A. program is largely criticized but it is totally the best course. It offers a wide variety of knowledge and helps the student to nourish views and opinions. It helps us to understand the historical, political process and a lot kore information about the world and India. The campus also organises several events like seminars, talks, movie watching, tour walks, etc.

One of the best part of my life.
Placements: Out of 100% of students in our college, 65% are from my course. I don't have an idea about the package, but yes, some seniors get good packages. Almost 68% of students get internships. In my awareness, I'm an economics student, so for my course roles offered, it is related to finance.
Infrastructure: If I can talk about my college faculty, it is so good. The teaching faculty is very nice, and the library is also so cool. The sports complex is nice, and the canteen is good. The medical faculty is good, but I don't know more about it because I never required it still, but I listen from many of my friends that it is good.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are so helpful and good in nature. The subjects that I have are very relevant for my future studies. Exams are difficult, but the teaching faculty is so good, so everything is Teachers are really such friendly and helpful people; they even help you to give your internal number if you were absent, so they call and ask for the assignment to submit it.
Other: The best thing about my course is that it is so helpful for my further studies, but one thing that I want to improve is that everything is good. College events and fests are organized by my department's students.

I am satisfied with its infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placed in our course. Many students opt for PG courses or UPSC preparation. Placement cell is active. The average salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure. We have all facilities like mess, hostel, library, playground, badminton court, gym, and medical room. All types of games are encouraged in our college. Wi-Fi is available on our campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Semester exams are average. If you pay attention from the start, you can easily score good marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this college because of its infrastructure. Our campus environment is better. Events are also conducted in our college. Many societies are there to enhance our skills.

Adventure of the college life.
Placements: The highest package of our college is approximately 9 lacs per annum, and the average package that our college offers is around 5 lacs per annum. Basically, the placements are for the science and the commerce background. As compared to the science and commerce streams, the art students have fewer opportunities for placements. The percentage of students pleased in our college is around 30 or maybe 40%. Colleges also provide both paid and unpaid internships to the students; basically, the purpose of the internship is to uplift the skills. The projects that were given under the internship are research work for HR interns and some other associated works. Most of the students of the arts stream opt for the civil services and other competitive exams like MBA and SSC CGL.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure among all the colleges. Our building is fully air-conditioned, with the facility of Wi-Fi available on every floor. The students also have a park of labs with the new technology computers available for the students. And another the best thing about the college is its library, which was divided into 3 floors for the convenience of students, one for the accessible books. One for the lab and the college library also provide sitting areas with the cabins table system for self-study.
Faculty: The faculty is also good. Most of the professors have the experience of more than 10 years. In our arts department there are three permanent faculty members of history, economics, and political science. The faculty is really supportive. Basically, each year is divided into two semesters, which are conducted after every 5 months, and the level of the semesters is easy to moderate, but in subject it is tough also.
Other: According to the new education policy, there is a change in the B.A. program: if you pursue a 4-year course in the B.A. program, then you will get the honors degree in a subject that you choose out of your combination; otherwise, if you don't want to pursue the fourth year, you can quit it after the 3rd year, and you will get the degree of Bachelor. Along with the core subjects, there were skill enhancement courses, general elective subjects, and the value-added course also included. You can change the subjects other than course objects in every semester.

Q:   Which is best in terms of Bsc placement, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College or DU?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, your query is alright but it perhaps begs little more clarity. Let me put it this way. DDU is a college with students, professors coming every day for learning and teaching and is known for its Bsc Course. DU on the other hand is only an administrative entity. It may issue policy, set up syllabus, decide on working hours, holidays etc. But there is no classroom and no student passes out. Of course students do pass out from different colleges affiliated to it. There are few universities which have faculty and specialised courses but these are invariably at level of PG and placements of these students pursuing PG is on a different level than for undergraduate students.
I can not resist the urge to quote "one should not compare oranges with apples"!
Best wishes to you.

Q:   What is the procedure to take BSc admission at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, the procedure or the process of seeking admission in Deen Dayal Upadhyay college of Delhi University is quite simple and straight forward and it is exactly same for seeking admission in any other college under Delhi University. A student needs to register himself on the special portal of Delhi University created for admissions process and is called CSAS or Common Seat Allocation System. After this the student needs to register for CUET examination conducted by National Testing Agency and seek good percentile since admissions invariably close above percentile of 95 in this college.
However to help you further I am attaching a link that will give you in detail the complete procedure of registration for admission in this college before the CUET examination and after the examination.

Q:   What is the cutoff for BSc at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College?

A:

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Deendayal Upadhyay college under Delhi University is quite well known for its academics. It has ranking of 24 which is considered quite good. Due to this, cut offs at this Institute are quite high for all the undergraduate courses that it offers. From different sources that I could go through, the cutoffs in the year 2022 were set between 94 to 96 for different BSc courses which are offered by this college. Cutoffs very every year and it depends on the number of seats available for admission and also the results of the CUET examination. In the year 2023 either the paper was little soft  or the students were now aware of what type of questions are asked and as a result more than 20000 students have scored 100 percentile. Not only this the students who have scored percentile above 95 are more than two and half lakh. Of course this is all India figure and this test is applicable for all the Central University across India and therefore it can be safely assumed that not all the students will come up to colleges under Delhi University.  Be that as it may, this is bound to increase the competition and as a result it is expected that the cutoffs for the year 2023 for BSc courses may increase by one or two percentiles.
Best wishes to you.
