All About Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi!
Placements: It’s around 30-40% of students who got placement. The highest Package - 8-9 lacs per annum, the lowest Package - 5-6 lacs per annum. Mostly in the Government Sector, in history, there are many research fields in which you can work in various departments like ASI (Archaeological Survey of India), etc. Internship was based on individual interest, so it’s like according to your interest & skills you have to opt.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, Deshbandhu College has the biggest Library in Delhi University, Classrooms are big but lack in Air Conditions. College doesn’t provide Hostel, Quality of food in the Canteen is not that good but a few dishes are. Other Medical facilities are well-equipped and maintained. This College supports each and every sport and game to the National Level.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified. As all human beings are different, all have different mental capacities, so the teachers are good but self-study is a must. Course Curriculum is relevant to the Research fields, not to the Industrial fields. Semester Exams are Medium, not too hard and not too easy. Passing Percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course as I’m preparing for Civil Services, so it is also helpful for me while studying. I have an interest in the research field, so this is the best thing about History Hons as everything you have to study in detail. There are many Fests, Events, and Extracurricular Activities like the recently held Diwali Mela in the College by NSS (National Social Service). There are many societies like Timbre Music Society, Dance Society, Marketing Society, etc. which help in your personality development.

The infrastructure facilities are also very nice.
Placements: I would say the college has good placement opportunities. Before 2022, the placement opportunities were not as they should be, but after 2022, the union was formed in our college, and they did their best to increase placements in every subject. Unfortunately, in our course, the placements are a little less compared to others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also very nice. I like the cafeteria area; it is basically a very peaceful area where we can chill with our friends. Also, the labs in our college are fantastic. The dancing room and the auditorium are great. The main focus of our college is the archery ground, which is also very nice.
Faculty: The faculty members are also very helpful. They always try to make our subjects or studies easier. They even take tutorial classes for better explanation or to explain the summary of the classes. They also help during the exam, providing us with previous year's question papers. They also take presentations, which makes it easier for us to present in exams.

It is a decent college with great faculty.
Placements: There aren't many students from our course landing in reputed placements. It varies from course to course, and as of now, the scope is limited. Internships are available in museums and galleries, but the average packages offered by companies are not particularly impressive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, but there is no hostel facility provided within the campus premises. This could be a challenge for students looking for a full campus life experience. If you're hoping for on-campus accommodation, you might be disappointed.
Faculty: The faculty exceeded my expectations. Teachers are engaging and knowledgeable, with a strong research background. Classes are held regularly, and study materials are provided. However, there is a lack of physical reading materials which could be improved.
Other: It's good value for money, considering the course fees are reasonable, and the crowd at the college is decent.

Underrated institution that you must know.
Placements: To be honest, there's no placement for BA (Hons. ) History in this college, and I believe no college will provide placement for this course because this is something that you can get a job in this field when you'll have thorough knowledge about it, which one cannot gain just by graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good; the library is one of the best on the entire DU campus; in fact, it is the best managed library; Wi-Fi is there, which is working; labs have all the necessary equipment; classrooms are in very good condition; there is a canteen and cafeteria both in the college, which are of optimum level.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is awesome, and the and the teachers in the history department are very knowledgeable, kind and generous. The course and syllabus are updated, and suggested books are those that are so prestigious and helpful for any further competitive exam. Semester exams are of moderate level; PYQs are the lifeline of students.
Other: The history department of this college is fabulous, as it has the most experienced teacher of ancient India in the entire university. The college is full of events; there is not a single day when the auditorium is vacant. Auditoriums, conference halls, and seminar halls—in fact, multipurpose halls are always busy. The festival of the college is nice, with decent stars. Neha Kakar, Mohit Chauhan, Shaan, Gippy Grewal and many more stars have performed at the college festival. There are so many extracurricular activities in the college; there are more than two dozen societies, ncc, nss, volleyball, kabaddi and many more things to experience. Campus crowding is something that can be a drawback for the college but now, because of CUET, this problem is also being solved. Now only good students with diverse creative thoughts are in the college. The location of the college is also very good; there are cafes, restaurants and outlets of MNCs nearby.

The classrooms and library are well-equipped. This college has 17th NIRF rank.
Placements: Deshbandhu College doesn't offer placements for B.A. students, but as much as I have heard about the science faculty of the college, they get very eye-catching packages and also, the departments are highly recommended in the whole of the University of Delhi. I appreciate their efforts but they should also provide placements for other courses.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are above average but the sports and library are enough to capture the eye of this college. Canteen food is average. Sports clubs are captivating the interest of students and getting them more involved in them. It has many societies working for the welfare of the department.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and I appreciate their efforts for students. They are helping nature and are cooperating with all aspects of their society, work or any sports field. Their main emphasis is on focusing on the course, but they also help students work with societies and all other things .
Other: I have chosen B.A. History Hons. to know more about and deepen our understanding of past events. It helps capture more and more information about historical events. Execute plans include a heritage walk.
