Magic of Elsa, beauty with brains is the tag given to LSR students.
Placements: Placements are conducted once a year. LSR has received the highest salary package in DU. There is a defined process to enroll in placements. Opportunities are offered across all subjects. Many top companies participate in the hiring process. Around 40%-50% of students are placed from each batch.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good with accessibility for the disabled. There is a Wi-Fi connection for all. There is a library and a reference section for students to access resources. There is a canteen called Café, along with Nescafe and Mother dairy inside the college. Hostels are well-maintained and clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and experienced. They teach inclusively as per the requirements of students, such as for Hindi medium students, making classes informative. Tutorials are held, which are basically doubt classes with only 10-15 students.
Other: Many events are held in college. There are a lot of societies to participate in. Fests are the most fabulous part of college. The crowd is really good and inclusive.

Short review of ISR college Delhi university .
Placements: In history honors, the placement is fairly low. As compared to other non-liberal arts subjects. Lots of students focus on further studies and competitive exams. So for placement, an exact estimate is hard to establish, but a lot of students do well.
Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure facilities compared to the majority of Delhi University colleges; great libraries, labs, and Wi-Fi are available. The classrooms in the new building are fairly bigger and better. Other essential facilities are also available.
Faculty: I consider the faculty to be extremely knowledgeable and qualified. The circulum is also very relevant for further studies in the field as well as for competitive exams. The semester exams are not really tough, but they require some preparation to pass.

Magic of Lady Shri Ram College For Women.
Placements: In our department, the placements are very low, but you can still sit for placement and apply for human resources. The placements are very active for other departments such as economics, B.Com., and statistics. The average number of placements is about 7 to 9 LPA, and the highest package at Delhi University was from LSR for 49 LPA this year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good; we have 2 buildings, one old and one new.. So eventually, the entire infrastructure will be really good. The hostel is good, but right now its under construction, and the seats are limited in the hostel. The mess of the hostel was really good, and students were provided with fruits and milk.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are highly qualified and really helpful, as well as dedicated to teaching. Sometimes they are too strict, but at times they do understand your situation and grant you permission to give your test later, and they fix it any day at your convenience. Well, when we talk about history as a subject, it is very vast. But in the entire university of Delhi, the PYQs are always repeated, so we just have to do the PYQs, which we are set to do during the exam times.
Other: I loved history during high school, and that's what made me choose history for graduation. Also, I wanted to opt for government examinations in which history plays a really crucial role. There are 2 college festivals and a department festival at your college. The 2 college festivals include Noor, which is conducted before Diwali, and Tarang, which is conducted before Holi, so both are really nice, and we enjoy a lot during our college festivals. Talking about history department festivals, we have Maazi O Mustakbil, in which we learn a lot of things by attending the sessions of the great professors of JNU and DU itself.

Recommended LSR for girls.
Placements: Students from my course could only be placed in the field of research, museology or archaeology. Some of the job role suited for this course would be editor or researcher in newspapers or magazines. However, only a few percent of students are placed in this course. Some of the internships and placements from this course would be The Hindustan, UNESCO, Airtel, HCL, Indian PAC, NIIT, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in terms of chairs, tables, blackboards, libraries, etc. is good. Even the toilets are well maintained and cleaned. The network and speed of Wi-Fi sometimes don't work because of university network issues. The hostel of our college is recently preparing, and the college isn't allotting hostels to anyone currently because of construction work. Food in the canteen is quite affordable, and other facilities like sports and games are accessible. However, medical facilities are only available for some specific hours.
Faculty: The faculty of history is qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, but it can be better with some advanced tools and field trips. This course is specifically for the public sector, like UPSC or archaeology. It is not for any commercial industry. The end-of-semester exam in history is moderately difficult in terms of difficulty as it is mainly based on theories. We have to attempt 4 questions out of 8 in the exam.
Other: This course is very useful in term of research and its methodology. This helps to study humans, and it makes it important and best thing, of course. I would like to make some improvements in the method of teaching, for example, by having some practical things or visiting historical sites or museums. We have lots of events, some of which are annual like Tarang, and some are department-specific like maazi-o-Mustaqil, the history department's annual fest. There were various and different crowd of students from different parts of India enrolled on the campus. There are some scholarship in the works; however, there are some criteria to availing of those scholarships. There are various extracurricular activities in dance, music, drama, sports, social work, NCC, etc.

Our college provides good professors.
Placements: Our college does not provide many placement offers for the history department. Business analyst and other roles are offered to students. Commerce background firms recruit students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus. Admin office works well. Air-conditioners are not available in classrooms so it is a little difficult during exams. The cafe is good. The food served is good and affordable.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good but strict regarding attendance. Semester exams are the same all over Delhi University but students get a good exposure.
Other: Our college should provide more offline events. The previous fest was not managed very well. The campus is good with lush greenery. The campus crowd is amazing.
