The college has a government tool room and training centre.
Placements: The college has collaborations with PSU's like HAL, NAL, BEL, etc. They hire many students as interns. Private companies like TVS and general electric are some of the hiring companies. All the placements were done off-campus, there is no placements cell available in the college. Some placements are done by alumni and teachers reference, there are less placements in the institute. Packages offered are around 4 Lacs rupees.
Infrastructure: The college life is very low. The campus area is very small, but good amount of resources are available. There are no tech fest, competitions and the innovation platforms are zero. We have a library and there is no Wi-Fi. Hostel is not good for staying, many good PG are available in the 6th block costing 3k to 4k with food offered twice a day.
Faculty: The internal faculty is quite good and experienced. The teachers have good knowledge about manufacturing and tooling. Most subjects are taught by guest faculty at SKIT college. There is lack of faculty members. We have core subjects like press tool design, die casting design and plastic modeling. Course is balanced between design and theory, you need to pass in both to got a degree.
Other: It is a government college so the fees is low amounting to 25,000 for 1 year in M.Tech.
