Other: Location: The place is in Sodepur Panihati, which is not far from Dum Dum and is easily accessible via Metro rail. From Station, it's just a rickshaw for 10 mins, and you are there. Campus Infrastructure: The place is huge with playing grounds and other amenities. Faculty and Course: GNIT has a strong members of faculty members for different applied technologies. Dentistry and food technology is an added star to the college. I passed in MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from there and we were lucky to have such good professors. Our Head of the Department is a great man and he has this visionary approach towards the overall developments and student's benefits. Faculty members are very friendly and approachable.

Best Engineering Institute.
Placements: Almost all students are placed, even many students got multiple job offers in MNC companies. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 26 LPA offered. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree, and ITC Infotech visit our college to hire students from the MCA department.
Infrastructure: Good quality labs and high configuration systems are provided for study by the department. The library is also very good, with systems available and all books for 6 months. Multiple sports grounds are available for playing various games. Mess food: The quality and taste of food are acceptable.
Faculty: Our department faculty are well-trained and helpful. Students can work with faculty on research projects. Guards and CCTV cameras are present everywhere. A moderate schedule with around 5-10 lectures per week. You have to study throughout the semester to score.

Really good and very encouraging to students.
Placements: The students above 70 per cent are placed in the course. The lowest package is Rs 35,000 per month and the highest package is1.5 lack per month. Google, Tata and Tech Mahindra are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: Well designed laboratories and a good environment library for study. Well, balanced classrooms and free Wi-fi is available on the campus. In the hostel, the food quality is good and the canteen is up to the mark. The college conduct sports and extracurricular activities.
