Guru nanak institute of engineering, college admission process.
Placements: The placement is required for every number of students, but one condition in your marks percent is that 75 percent above is compulsory. It was provided that the placement salary is INR 30k around salary starting. There are many companies that offer internships at the college, such as TCS and Khar Technologies, etc. There are not any roles offered.
Infrastructure: This college campus and department provide many facilities, like drinking water, a bathroom, clean classrooms and labs, and a library, but all books are available. The canteen food is so fresh, and the sports committee is playing every year's sports and games.
Faculty: That is, the college teacher is qualified at Mumbai University in the engineering degree. The college teacher is very knowledgeable and helpful. There are a total of 4 years of course and 8 semesters. There were a total of 900 marks on the paper, and passing marks of 45 percent are compulsory.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed in our course. Various IT and core companies visit our college for recruitment. Programming jobs are offered by top companies like Capgemini, Mindtree, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, various types of courses are available. Laboratory is excellent. We have a huge library. Classrooms are spacious and clean. It also has separate boys' and girls' hostels. The food quality is also good.
Faculty: There are many courses. All the branches have qualified faculty members. They are very knowledgeable in their subjects. Faculty members are helpful and friendly. They always encourage us to learn something new.

I am satisfied with the faculty members. Overall placements are bad, but Infrastructure is good.
Placements: Placements in the EE department are very poor, as many companies do not visit our college. Only 2 or 3 companies come, and they hire very few students. For example, out of 300 students, 150 are eligible for placements, and out of those, only 5-10 candidates are getting jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students, but we can easily access it by consulting with seniors. Library is better and quite peaceful for studying. Wi-Fi is also available in the library. Outsiders cannot enter the library as an ID card is required, which is a very good technique. As for the hostel, I cannot comment since I don’t live in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty memebrs are quite impressive as they are highly qualified and have great experience in the teaching field. This helps them understand which students grasp the material and which do not. Courses are designed to make you industry-ready, but it depends. In terms of the curriculum, I think other experiences are also required.
Other: This college holds fests for every department, which helps connect with like-minded people and make new friends to enjoy college life. Extracurricular activities in this college include an annual sports event, where games are available for both boys and girls.

Review of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT.
Placements: About 60% of students in the final year were placed in electrical engineering. They have one semester left. The highest salary package offered is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Wipro, Capgemini, Amazon, Mindtree, etc. Around 10% to 15% of students get internships. There are many companies that offer internships.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, but the speed is not good. It is less than 1 Mbps. Sometimes, Wi-Fi does not work. We have good labs for our practicals. Classrooms are fine. We have a book bank system in our library. We get books at the beginning of a semester. The hostel is good enough. The mess is fine.
Faculty: Like at every college, not all teachers are good. They are friendly. They help you as much as they can. If students concentrate a little bit, then they will be industry-ready. Questions in exams are prepared by the university. If you study, you get good marks. The pass percentage is about 80%.

I love the college and our faculty members.
Placements: I am from the electrical branch. Around 85% of students got placed in top recruiting companies. Our top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys etc. Around 90% of students got internships from my course in various companies. Our college is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata.
Infrastructure: Our campus is big enough to chill and hang out with friends. We have a pond, where we can sit around. Wi-Fi is available on campus 24*7. Our lab is very big and has the equipment like a typical lab. Our college canteen is very neat and tidy.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very kind and humble. They are very helpful. They are highly qualified and clear every doubt of students when asked. Our end-semester exams are tough enough to answer. Questions come from books, and the pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I chose this course because it has a huge scope in government jobs. I wish there should be an improvement in practical exams. Our college is well connected by trains and bus.
