Our college has good infrastructure.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered by Adobe is 51 LPA. The average salary package offered is 14.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Byju's, Rapido, etc. Almost 80% of students got internships. Top roles offered are SDE, software developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all the facilities. Our college has a library, Wi-Fi, classrooms, etc. Classrooms are average. Some fans are not working. Classrooms are non-air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facility is available in the library. The library is equipped with air-conditioners. Our college has 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. Each hostel has more than 180 rooms. The hostel has single rooms. The food served in the hostel is good. They serve food 4 times a day.

Faculty: Some teachers are not helpful during class and lack enthusiasm. The course curriculum is consistent across all branches for first-year subjects. The pass percentage depends on the individual. It is possible to pass with only two days of preparation before the exam.

Other: Many events and fests are held in our college. Many celebrities visit our college.

Comprehensive guide about my college USICT, GGSIPU.

Placements: The majority of the candidates get placed, with the highest package being INR 44 LPA in 2022 and INR 41 LPA as of now (2024 session). The average package is generally around INR 12 LPA. We have more than 200 offers from various companies, some of them being Amazon, Flipkart, Hike, Adobe, Rapid, Tata 1MG, Accenture, etc. The top role offered is SDE. More than 90% of the students got internships in different companies with stipends ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 50,000.

Infrastructure: The library hosts a vast collection of books from different fields that cater to all interests. It is air-conditioned and has dedicated study rooms. The college canteen provides good-quality provisions at nominal prices. Apart from the canteen, we have many other outlets like the Juice Shop, Snack Shop, Nescafe, and Amul and Mother Dairy outlets. The hostel is very comfortable for the students, with separate rooms. The mess provides meals many times during the day and is of very good quality. The college also has a dedicated medical emergency clinic with an ambulance ready for any emergencies. Sports and games are very encouraged around the campus as we have very good infrastructure like a cricket ground, a basketball ground, a volleyball ground, a badminton court, a swimming pool, etc. An annual sports meet is conducted every year on campus, in which all the affiliated colleges participate.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are very helpful in solving queries related to the subjects. The curriculum also prepares the student and caters to all-round development, making the student industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; anyone with some knowledge and interest can easily qualify. The pass percentage is also higher than 90%.

Other: Computer science is very interesting and appealing to me. As for events, the college hosts an annual festival called Anugoonj, which witnesses more than 60k footfall and has many events. Also, the USICT conducts its own Tech-Fest InfoExpression, which hosts many events and competitions related to different technologies. Also, other institutes on campus host their own fests related to their fields, so the campus is very happening. The crowd is really good for the campus. And as for USICT, the coding culture is excellent, as we have many tech societies like acm, ieee, techspace, gdsc, etc. One can also connect with students from different fields to exchange ideas. The best thing I like about the college is the excellent facilities compared to the very low fees. The hostel fee is also nominal. The college is graded A+ by NAAC in 2023.

Absolutely Real Review on the Basis of Real Experience.

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 22 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average package offered in my course was approximately 6 LPA. The top recruiting company was Amazon. Before, Wipro gave a 22 LPA package to 2-3 students. Internships were off-campus, so it’s not necessary to mention. Top roles were SDE and associate engineer.

Infrastructure: I was not in the hostel, so I don't know much about it, but as I heard from my colleagues, it was good. The food was good, the infrastructure was good, faculty was good, course faculty were good, medical faculty, and sports and games were also above average, so it was great.

Faculty: All teachers were very knowledgeable and well-educated. Some of them were very strict, and some of them were very chill. The course curriculum was also good because most of the main subjects related to placements were covered in the 3rd or 4th semester. There should have been some practical job knowledge activities so students could learn about job roles. Semester exams were medium in difficulty, with a pass percentage of 40 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer science and coding, but due to some circumstances, I was not able to compete with my colleagues. They were far better than me, and I wish we had been given some practical knowledge about job life after the course. It would have been a lot of help to us. Events, fests, campus crowd—all were good. Scholarships were also available, but some students were able to avail of them.

Joining this college is value for money.

Placements: Placements at this college are average but it is improving now. In 2020, the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA by Amazon, and the average package offered was around 5 LPA. In 2021, the highest salary package offered was 32 LPA by Amazon to 4 students, and the average salary package offered was 8.5 LPA. Around 94% students got placed in 2021. So the placements are getting better at this university. As far as college fee is concerned, placements are valued for money.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, library, canteen, and the overall infrastructure of our college is decent. It is neat and clean. It is maintained everyday. A library is a good place for readers as decorum is maintained properly. Canteen food is also tasty and proper hygiene is maintained.

Faculty: Faculty is the only factor that irritates me a lot. Faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable but the teaching quality is poor. They force to mug up all the things even if it has no practical use. Although some teachers are good too so I give overall 2 stars.

Review of B.Tech, CSE at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Placements: Great companies with huge packages come for placement. Active training and placement cell. Very helpful staff and crew which provides information about companies for placement and internships. Events are held frequently for helping in developing skills for placements.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped and clean. Hostels have all the facilities available like coolers, and water coolers. Washrooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the food is really good and somewhat healthy. Food is always served on time. The cafeteria always serves decent food.

Faculty: Excellent faculty is available. Teachers are very interactive and polite. They are well experienced and they explain lessons easily and in a way that is easy to understand. They also clear doubts whenever you ask them, they are friendly and make you feel comfortable.

GGSIPU is now using JEE Main scores for B.E./B.Tech admissions. So CET code no. 131 is void now. Now come to the your point, The school from where your son has completed the 12th i.e Air Force School Hindon, Ghaziabad is falling under the Uttar Pradesh state jurisdiction. Is the cut-off for other states student high?

Generally, the student of the home state is preferred up to a percentage reservation on some colleges. Also, in some colleges, the rank of admission differs for home and state quota.
