Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.

Best college for those who want to be placed in a software company.
Placements: Based on the placement in my college, the highest package is 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum. The main goal of my college is to get placed, so in this college, recruiting companies like IT software, for example, Wipro, TCS, etc. For an internship, you must have an above-80 percentage.
Infrastructure: The library has a lot of computers, so students can use any of them. Wi-Fi is also available in every subject; there should be a lab, and maintenance is perfect. In hostels, food is okay, room cleaning is perfect, it has medical facilities where you can have any issues, and they conduct games for fun.
Faculty: I think teachers are intelligent in this college because they have experienced faculty to teach students so easily they understand about the subject. A good student who maintains the mark can get placed, and the pass percentage is 50 percent. If you have 100 marks, you must get 50 to get passed.
Other: I like coding, so I chose this course. The best thing is I got placed in IT; they provide a scholarship for each student; they must fill out the scholarship form and get it.

IFET is good for academics but not good for the spots which are liked the people.
Placements: The placements are good on the campus. I got a job in SL Lumax, which is a core industry. Compared to all the other colleges in Villupuram. IFET is good in placements. In my batch, 95% of the students got placed in a core and IT industry. Many call centres visited the campus, and most of the people got selected in that, which is good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, IFET is not too good but okay. If you like sports, then don't join in IFET. IFET has a small size of ground. The library is good compared to other colleges. Administrative people told that the campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but if you want, you need to pay money.
Faculty: Curriculum wise, IFET is good. The faculty members are friendly, and they come with lesson more strict. If you joined in IFET, you would clear all the papers 100%, and also can score good marks. For one semester, IFET conducts five internal exams, and 1 model exam, if you fail in an internal exam, then IFET conducts a re-test.

Good satisfication(all round contributed institution for students).
Placements: The placement facility which was arranged by our college is very much useful for both my batch and my senior batch(2016 passed outs). Nearly up to 95% of students had got placement offers.
The following are salary packages which are categorized in about three levels based on the standard of the company which arrives for recruitment in our college.
The highest level package- 3.2 LPA.
The average level package- 2.6 LPA.
The lowest level package- 1.4 LPA.
And then the following are the name of the companies for placement drive:
TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Polaris, Orange Scape, Paragon, Hinduja Global Solutions, Airtel, MRF, etc.
Following that, the students were empowered in various posts such as Graduate Engineering Trainee, Associate Supervisor, Production Engineer, Junior Programmer, Quality control, Maintenance Engineer, etc kinds of roles were offered to my college mates in their respective companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facility in my college is affordable while compared to surrounding institutions.
Wi-Fi- 125 Mbps enabled campus
Laboratory- Well-maintained apparatus with air conditioners.
Medical Facilities- The indoor hospital is located inside the campus which leads us to take an immediate treatment when there is a necessity.
Then the sports and games.
This is the institution which is suitable to sculptures our mind in academic background. Our college gives more importance to studies rather than sports.However, there is no failure in encouragement of any appreciable activity which may either belong to sports or academics. The college management will give proper recognition for our talents.
The food items sold in the canteen are good.
There are separate hostel blocks for girls and boys. Each room in the hostel would be flexible for two students to stay. The hostel rooms are being maintained with proper attention.
There are no infrastructure issues for people from rural areas. But for people from urban areas, it will feel uneasy in the starting period of joining the college.
Faculty: When looking at faculty members and course curriculum, there is a close exposure between students and faculty members. They taught us firstly about "how to be successful in our career and personal life and how to balance both of these with proper intention and care".
Then they were concentrating in the curriculums.
Faculty members in our college were watching us keenly and were providing us with counselling at a proper time when required.
Other: My college is very much useful for those who make their professional career with the best course curriculum experience and proper placements. The persons who want to shine in their academics rather than sports must join this college immediately.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Students got placements. Our college conducted separate placement classes. It charged fees for the classes.
Infrastructure: There was no parking facility in our college. The hostel was small. It was safe for girls. The hostel fee was average. It had a good environment. Our college did not provide books on particular subjects.
Faculty: Professors were a bit strict. They show us the right path. They conduct weekly and monthly tests. The course was good.
Other: It is one of the best colleges for engineering compared to other colleges. It provides very good education. Our college management is not good.
