Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 2486 and closing rank was 2769. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 4620 and 5436. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Going as per the past three year trends candidates can expect the closing ranks for IIT Bhubaneswar JEE Main cutoff 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment for top specialisations between the following range: 

• B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering must range between 5230 and 6768
• B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 2176 and 2806
• B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering must range between 3917 and 4641
• B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 2710 and 3258

IIT Bhubaneshwar JAM Cutoff 2024 has been out for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc. + Ph.D. in Geology, with the Cutoff of 111. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for the same course closed at 216.

If the Cutoff rank is more than 111, there is no scope of admission to IITs for M.Sc+Ph.D. in Geology.
