Beautiful campus, decent placement, and good faculty.

Placements: The placements are decent here with a median package of 15 LPA and a total placement percentage of around 85. The highest package is around 62 LPA. The core placements are also decent. However, currently, the internship scenario on campus for my branch is poor. For non-core, internship opportunities are decent.

Infrastructure: The hostels are good and equipped with Wi-Fi and LAN. There are three boys' hostels, two girls' hostels, and a hostel for married couples. The facilities for sports are really good; we have all sports facilities except a swimming pool, which is expected to be functional from Feb 2025. The new lecture hall complexes are well-built.

Faculty: The faculty is good over here; all the faculty have done Ph.D. The curriculum is similar to IIT Kharagpur and needs to be updated. The semester exams are generally tough, and the grading depends on the faculty, whether it will be relative or absolute grading.

It is a top college in Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. The highest salary package offered this year was 55 LPA and it was very high in the previous year. The average salary package is 15 LPA. Many MNCs and other companies from abroad visit our college to offer placements with good salary packages.

Infrastructure: Our college organises good inter-IIT sports. SAC is available. There are 7 classes per day. LBC is provided for 1st-year students. It provides 5 hostels, of which 3 are for boys and 2 for girls. There are new and old shopping complexes. It has a good warden.

Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are good, interactive, and experienced. Classes are conducted for 20 hours per week. Our college organises a mid-semester and an end-semester exam per semester. The course curriculum is designed well under the supervision of the director.

Review of IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Coming to placements, in our branch, that is the mechanical engineering branch, there are no 100 percent placements but a decent percentage of people are getting placed. Not getting more packages but a decent package of 10 LPA to 12 LPA is an average package.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and the hostel is also good, but for food, it is not that good. Especially for, it will be difficult to adjust at the beginning, and as days pass, it will be habituated. Each person will have a room, and there will be around 50 rooms on a floor.

Faculty: Some faculty will be good and supportive, and exams will be difficult in the case of the mechanical engineering branch I belong to that branch. Coming to the curriculum, from the second year semester, there will be completely core subjects, so we need to work a lot to get good scores.

A developing college, but found it quite good in terms of sports facility.

Placements: Around 90% students in mechanical department are placed. The average package for mechanical engineering is around 18 LPA, and the lowest is around 8 LPA. Circuital has much better placements.

Infrastructure: The campus is still developing its infrastructure. Hostels are there. Auditorium and lecture hall complex is nearly completed and will be opened in some months. The labs, library, classrooms are nice. The mess food is good. Sports facilities are very good. Every sport has its own court and grounds.

Faculty: Curriculum is fine. Faculty members are really nice here. Some teachers are a bit strict, but their pedagogy is good. About exams, we will be having one mid semester exam and one end semester exam in each semester.

Other: It is an IIT institution, which itself is a name.

2022 batch has very good placements. The curriculum and faculty strength can be improved.

Placements: Our batch's 2022 placements were awesome. Most of the companies offer software roles. In our batch, almost 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package was 45 LPA offered by Amazon and the least salary package was 6.5 offered by L&T. Core companies that visit the campus are very less. In core branches, almost all people are getting placed in software companies. Hardly 7 or 8 core companies visited the campus. Core placements can be improved in our college.

Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure can be improved in our college. Nowadays, construction is going on. After 3 to 4 years, the infrastructure will be good. For South Indians, the food will be the major problem. Internet facilities and medical facilities are good. Many grounds are under construction now. After 3 years, I guess construction will be done.
