IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: All batches consist of 1100–1200 students, consisting of different branches. As far as my branch is concerned, frankly, it has a lesser placement. But still, our average package remains at 11 lacs and the median is up to 10 lacs. Most of the students go to IT companies.

Placements: I am pursuing an integrated master of technology in mathematics and computing. It is one of the best branches of the college and the average package offered is also really good. It is almost 30 lacs. Almost all the top multinational companies come to our college and hire students. Almost the placement percentage is 90–100%. Almost all the students who have a better CGPA get their internships in their third year. They can even get an internship in their second year. All the top roles are offered ...

Placements: In our group, a batch of 53 students were present and almost all the students secured placements. The highest package is 1.5 crore per annum, the least is 10 lacs per annum and the average package is around 30–40 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs and Barclays, UK.

Placements: In civil engineering, only 28 percent of the students were placed in campus placement drives. The highest package reached up to 49 Lacs per annum, with the average being around 13 Lacs per annum. A variety of roles were offered, with jobs in the IT sector topping the list.

Placements: This year the placement rates are not as great as previous years for our college. This year the placement percentage is very low as compared to other IITs. For example, our college is famous for its petroleum branch, but this year its placement percentage is very low. In our college, mathematics and computing is a really good branch. Most people leave it in counseling because it's a 5-year program, but it is a very reputed branch of our college and seniors are placed in very well-known companies...

Placements: Here placements are good, about 80 to 90 percent of students got placed and the rest are preparing for UPSC, that's why. The highest package here is 1 crore and the lowest was 5 LPA. Top recruiting for our college is Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler, etc. Internship here is also good.

Placements: Our course has successfully placed 40-50 percent of students. The annual salary packages range from 6 Lacs to an impressive 52 Lacs. Among the top companies that recruit our students are Microsoft, Google, Zomato, Uber, Flipkart, Swiggy, and Bharat Petroleum. Additionally, 30-40 percent of students have secured internships with renowned companies such as Uber, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Adobe.

Placements: Our college provides a good placement ratio, with about 80% of students getting placed in our course (including core, non-core, and SDE) with an average package of 24 LPA. Our college also provides internship opportunities. In some companies, all branch students are allowed, and some prefer specific branch students. Companies choose students for different posts based on their skills.

Placements: 80 to 89% of undergraduate students have secured placements. The highest salary package offered reaches up to several crores, approximately 2 crores per annum. On average, the annual package amounts to around 13 LPA. Renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and others conduct campus selections and offer exceptional internship opportunities.

Placements: The placement opportunities at IIT are exceptional, with students securing positions in some of the world's leading companies. Around 80% of students successfully find placements, while the remaining 20% explore opportunities in startups and other ventures. In 2020, the highest package offered was INR 25 lacs, while the lowest package stood at 12 lacs. Renowned companies actively participate in the hiring process at IIT.

Placements: The placement scenario is impressive, with high-quality opportunities and lucrative packages, with the majority, around 64%, securing placements. The highest package is 41 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 23.4 lacs per annum from top companies such as Coal India, RIO, and many other industries. Most of them offer paid internships.

Placements: Since I'm in the first year, I don't know the exact percentage, but students can find it on the official website. However, seniors have mentioned that around 90% of students are placed. The lowest package offered in Mechanical is 2.6 lacs per annum, while the highest package offered is 24 lacs per annum. Companies like PWC, DMFA, and more are among the recruiters.

Placements: Starting from the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Our campus attracts renowned companies such as Amazon and Swiggy, resulting in a remarkable 72% placement rate based on the previous year's placement drive. The opportunities for placements here are highly promising, with numerous offers already made. Additionally, esteemed companies like Titan, Morgan, and Zydus also visit our campus for internships, providing stipends of up to 35k.

Placements: 90 percent of students were placed this year. Additionally, some students secured placements off-campus, while others received PPOs from companies. Top recruiting companies include ONGC, Mess, Amazon, etc. The highest package was 1 crore internationally and 57 lac domestically. The average package was 17.2 lac per annum.

Placements: Internships are provided in the 5th semester and companies for placements start coming from the 7th semester onwards. Being an IIT, the placements at this college are decent and improving every year. The average package offered is 17 lacs, and the highest package offered is 67 lacs per annum. There were many internship opportunities that also offered a stipend of approximately INR 50,000.

Placements: 90% of students get placed in the companies because of the reputation that IIT holds. Students are also so talented here. More than 200 companies visit our college every year and offer packages. The highest package offered was 65 Lacs and the lowest package offered was 7 Lacs. Internship opportunities come every semester which are also given by reputed companies. Many students grab such opportunities and some internships also provide a stipend.

Placements: 75% of students got placed in our branch. The highest 30 LPA, average12 LPA, the lowest 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our course are L&T, JWS Steel, PwC, etc. 45% of people got internship in L&T, PwC, JWS Steel and many more. Top roles are DC and Data Analytics.

Placements: The college, being an IIT, offers numerous on-campus opportunities for placements and internships. Renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and sprinklr actively recruit from the campus, providing a range of roles including product management, software development, and more. The current placement season for 2024 has witnessed a highest package of 51 LPA and a median package of 16 LPA.

Placements: In IIT, nearly all students secure placements in reputable companies, receiving attractive packages ranging from 9 LPA to 29 LPA, with an average package of 17 LPA. Microsoft is the preferred choice for a majority of students, while other renowned companies such as Infotech, Zoho, IBM, and Union also offer internships and job opportunities.

Placements: 50 percent of students got placed on campus, 20 percent got placed off campus, and others went for higher studies. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung are the top recruiters. The average package is 20 LPA, and the highest is 50 LPA. 30 percent of students got internships from American Express, Samsung, Analog Devices, and JSW.
