Satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Though all students do not get placed through campus interviews, 40–50% of them get placed with the companies coming to campus. Some companies hire humanities students. I have a better idea about the only HSS department that provides internships. But it does not provide a stipend. The students need to contact the faculty members or department head.

Infrastructure: Rooms are very spacious and you'll get a single room in the 3rd year of B.Tech. and the 2nd year of M.Tech. Rooms have one table-chair, a fan, bed and a LAN port with a balcony in some hostels. Food is good 3 times a day: breakfast lunch and dinner. While submitting the fees, hostel fees are included for Ph.D. students, and they are not allowed to stay outside, so in 37000 mess, hostel and tuition fees are included .

Faculty: Faculty are so interactive and modern that some of them don't even touch the board to teach; they simply teach with the help of an iPad. The faculty at IIT Guwahati includes many esteemed scholars and researchers who are leaders in their fields. Their expertise and mentorship significantly enhance the learning experience. Some faculty are so good but some just came and left the class, no matter whether they understood or not.

Other: There is one annual technical and cultural fest called "Alcheringa.". Besides this, there are some more fests like Reflux, Technice, Manthan, Advaya, etc. There are other regional fests as well, which are conducted by the different communities of the students.
