Yes for B.Tech and M.Tech students it's good.

Placements: As a student of M.Sc. Mathematics and Computing. I would say the placement scenario for B.Tech students is pretty good. For those who wanna take placement from an M.Sc degree, it's mandatory to have good coding skills as well as DBMS, as very few companies open for M.Sc.

Placements: I am in my third year, and I attended the internship season held during last semester in July and November 2018. I can tell you that the placements and internship for the CSE, MnC, and ECE branches are very good. Placements: The placement records of the college are very good. More than 80% of the registered students get placed, and if we consider placements department wise, such as computer science and engineering, then placements are close to 100%. Most of the recruiters are from analytics, IT, consulting and finance sectors. The bad part is that there are very less placements in the core engineering and research sectors. A total of 537 students from B.Tech registered for placements, out of which around 79% were placed, i.e., around 427 students. The average package offered to the students was about 16 lacs per annum, which is quite satisfying. Specifically, from CSE branch, 78 out of 83 registered students were placed, i.e., 94% of the students, which is above average compared to other colleges.

Faculty are satisfactory except a few. But, placements are disappointing.

Placements: Around 70% of the registered students were placed, last year. The average package offered might be around 10 LPA, and the highest package was offered by IOCL, which was 17.5 LPA. Companies like L&T, IOCL, BPCL, Ansys, etc., visited the college to recruit the students of core branches and all the major IT companies visited to recruit the students of non-core branches. The placement cell (CCD, IITG) is very helpful and is the driving force behind the placement season in our college.
