Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our college. Almost 98% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2 CPA. The placement percentage varies from every branch. Our college provides good internships.

Placements: In EEE, the placement percentage is around 90% to 95%, which is good for a core branch. The highest salary package offered in EEE branch was 48 LPA, the average was 25 LPA to 26 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA. Not every student gets an internship. Many MNCs, like Google, Microsoft, Apple, JPMorgan, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Uber, etc., recruit students. Placements: Placement as expected are top notch here at IIT Guwahati. Especially for CSE guys, they get packages equivalent to top 5 IITs of country. Even for core branches, placements are at par with top IITs and better than any NIT or new IITs. Average package this year is about 19 LPA.

Placements: Many top companies like Microsoft, Oracle, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, OLA, Morgan Stanley, Grow, and Jio recruit students from IIT Guwahati. Some students have chosen research and internship opportunities at other universities around the world.

Placements: Top roles offered are software engineer, etc. Some students prepare for government jobs like UPSE and GATE.

Placements: Top companies that visited our campus for recruitment include Google, Microsoft, Uber, Tower Research, D.E. Shaw, Nutanix, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, JP Morgan, etc. Placements and internships for the CSE, MnC, and ECE branches are very good.

The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 20 LPA. Placements: The placement rate varies with the branch. CSE has about 100% placements, while it is quite low in core branches. The average package also varies with the branch. In 2016, about 65% of students (UG) got placed, while in 2017, about 75% of students (UG) got placed. The placement percentage also varies among PG and UG courses. Placements: The institute has exceeded expectations this year (2022) in terms of placements and has performed exceptionally well for all the branches. The overall Average package for B.Tech is around 26 Lacs and the Median is 22 Lacs with the highest package being 1.2 crores. Almost all the major companies come to recruit at IIT Guwahati including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.

Placements: Core placements are negligible in our institute. Most of the B.Tech students get placed in renowned software companies with decent salary packages of 25 LPA.

Placements: The percentage placement was greater than 96%. In the previous year, the average salary package offered was 19.50 LPA. Most students prefer to go to the SD side, and a few go to the core side. Core companies visit for placement, but one can easily get a job in other fields. If you're from CST, then an internship is something to grab. Most companies are open for circuital plus only. Internships are available in almost all of the branches below electrical. 

Placements: In our college, almost 95% of students were placed in our branch the previous year. The average salary package offered is 11 LPA to 12 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 46 LPA. Most students get internships in their second year. The peer group is best and you will skill up yourselves.

Placements: Around 82% of students get placed in companies of which 85% are selected for SWE role. Most of the students learn coding from 3rd year and get placed with a very decent salary package. Around 15% of students explore in finance and consultancy companies.

Placements: I think 73 percentage. The highest package is 2.1 crore, received by an M.Tech student. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, thermal power plant, etc. Almost every student gets internship in tech portion also like in google, Microsoft, etc.
