Honestly, very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Mostly above 95 percent of the students of our course got placements. Coming to the numbers of the packages, the highest package is above 2 crores in recent years. The average will be around 20 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is 4 Lacs per annum like that. Top recruiting companies are, of course, the top companies in the world like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and so many top companies.
Infrastructure: Coming to the facilities provided by the institution, they are really appreciable. There are many hostels in our college. For every single hostel, there is separate Wi-Fi. Public places like canteens, parks, libraries, and classrooms have Wi-Fi. The quality in the mess is very good. There are many dishes. Every day, we will have non-veg, veg, paneer, and all. Every food item will be available in the canteens. There is vast space for sports and games, which are especially extraordinary.
Faculty: Really, the teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality is extremely good. For industry readiness, it may not be in the first year, but after that, the real race for industries starts. Semester exams are at a good level. I cannot say extremely difficult, but they are extremely good papers.
Other: A very good thing about IITs, especially, is less crowd and more space. Our college is nearly more than 700 acres. What not, everything was good there. Sports fests, cultural fests, and more.

Placements: IIT Guwahati mechanical department has been given a lot of awards for having a high passing percentage of students. Its placement statistics are also good enough. The average package is around 10 to 15 LPA with top recruiters being TATA, Mahindra, Bajaj, In core, etc. With roles of design engineer, project manager, production engineer etc.
Infrastructure: The campus of IIT G is known for its beauty. You can see swans around and every hostel has its own stationary and juice centre. It has an impressive library and bus services that are available for travel around the city. Sports complex fulfill all the requirements and medical facilities are free.
Faculty: Teachers and professors of IIT Guwahati are highly qualified with Ph.D. degree in their respective major. The curriculum although I feel is less relevant to the current scenario as it does not teach modern technology and follows its conservative approach to the corporate world. Thereby, we can see a lack of modern skills in students and their way of coping up with job profiles.
Other: I choose this course because I have a bleak interest in aerospace and this course provided a perfect broader spectrum. Also it is a perfect balance between branch and college. The fests here are great and enjoyable. The highlight of the calendar anyways is the General Championship Competition as it teaches many things and inculcate hostel spirit and gives a real-life feel of films like Chichore and 3 idiots.

Placements: Approximately 85% of individuals have been placed, with the highest salary being around 50 or 40 LPA. The median salary is estimated to be around 10 or 12 LPA, and there are diverse roles available across various fields. This offers a wide range of opportunities, allowing individuals to choose different aspects of their day-to-day lives. Moreover, there are global prospects that provide immense knowledge and growth potential.
Infrastructure: The hostel where you will be staying offers excellent accommodation, delicious food, and efficient maintenance services. Each room is equipped with LAN connectivity, while Wi-Fi is available in the common areas. The laboratories are well-equipped, and the teachers maintain a disciplined environment, although they may be slightly strict. In Guwahati, attendance is monitored through biometric systems, and it is mandatory for you to attend.
Faculty: Just by listening attentively, attempting the exam, and working accordingly, you can ensure that you are well-prepared and industry-ready. The level of difficulty in the semester exams is moderate to tough, to be honest. The key to success lies in working hard, and your curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is also quite satisfactory.
Other: Since my childhood, I have had a deep affection for mechanical engineering, despite the relatively lower compensation in this field. My passion for it remains unwavering. Moreover, this branch offers numerous festivals and cultural programs, adding to its appeal.

Satisfied due to good infrastructure, labs, and a nice campus life.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of seniors are placed in our college. The others who are not placed generally opt for some other streams. The highest package for the previous batch was INR 2.4 crores. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Hero, Bajaj, and many more. Almost 50 percent of students got an internship the previous year. Many mechanical engineers do coding, and they sit in placement for computer science.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi. Even the library has high-speed internet. All the classrooms have two projectors, two blackboards, and a whiteboard. All the equipment in the labs is available and in good working condition. However, there is no Wi-Fi in labs. In a mess, you get healthy food but not good taste. There are mess and canteen facilities available in every hostel. There is a hospital on the IIITG campus for medical emergencies. Almost all major sports grounds and equipment are available.
Faculty: Professors are good enough here at IIT. The medium of instruction, however, is English. Students have difficulties understanding the lecture of the professor, and they do bunk classes a lot. So they mainly read from YouTube. And exams are tough here. Sometimes the highest marks out of 100 do get as low as 16. But it is mainly in math that students get lower marks.

Students can get a great experience in our college.
Placements: Placements were quite good. Around 700 offers were made in the first phase of the placement season by around 250 companies. The highest salary package offered for our course by tech companies was 90 LPA. The average salary package offered was 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. The lab equipment is well-maintained. Wi-Fi quality is good but is provided only around academic buildings. You can use LAN ports in the hostel or else buy routers. Canteen of every hostel has something special about it. The food served in the hostel is edible. Our college provides excellent sports facilities. You will enjoy playing on well-maintained grounds.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated, but the exposure that IIT provides you is worth the money paid and makes students industry-ready. Some teachers are supportive, while some just do their jobs and leave the class. Relative grading is difficult.
Other: The campus life is very good. Alcheringa, Spardha, Kirti, Techniche, and many more fests are held in our college apart from studies.
