Master in Medical Science and Technology (MMST/ MMRT) is a three-year course offered by the School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur. The selection for the MMST is based on a computer-based test conducted by the institute. Aspirants must have an MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate and have passed Mathematics in Class 12 to apply for MMST at IIT KGP.

The eligibility criterion for admission to MMST students is an MBBS degree recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a minimum of 55% aggregate with Mathematics at Class 12 level (even as an additional subject) or from any recognised open university.
