Absolutely satisfied with infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements are really good in our specialisation. Many companies like John Deere, Mahindra, Escorts, Sonalika etc. Come here for placement. In our batch currently 12 students got placed out of 18. Still the companies are coming here for placements. Till the end of this semester everyone will be placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, medical facilities etc. Are available and easily accessible. Classrooms are very good and even have Acs. They have playgrounds and sports tuitor are also available. Food quality is very good but not tasty like home.
Faculty: Faculty is really supportive and have good knowledge of their subject. The student and faculty ratio is about 5:1. Yes we get industrial expose too here. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it covers all the important topics which are needed in industries or for higher studies.
Other: Many events are held in our institute like spring fest which is a cultural fest and Kshitiz which is a technical fest. Except this all branches host there individual fest and Competition.

An IIT-Kharagpur student's experience for doing M.Tech after GATE.
Placements: I don't want to make you hopeless, but it's better not to expect much from the placement. Only one company came from the core field, but for the off-campus, the core companies will not show so much interest. Many of the non-core company will come, but for that too, you have to have skills like the programming, algorithm, machine learning and problem-solving skills, good communication, etc., then only you can get the placements. But for the knowledge sake, it is a good course, and you can learn more here, than anywhere else. But try to be engaged in all the studies and as well as the personal development and I know the stuff I am saying as I am one of the best students, not the last one, so consider it seriously.
Infrastructure: Regarding the facilities, you will get all things that even you didn't expect like the library, sports complex, digital computer library and everything. You will also get a night canteen, gym, swimming pool, green parks, etc. I think all of them and I am are not used to them, but still, say, I used almost everything, here. For the infrastructure, I would give 9/10 ratings.
Faculty: The faculty are different in nature, as some of them are very cool mind and helpful, while some of them are straight-forward, so as per the course they teach well, but they are strict in giving you a grade point results. I advise not to mesh with any faculty, because it will not be an intelligent decision. Just be polite and dedicated to all the assignment and courses that they teach in the class because this will decide your future. Somehow, all of it is in your hands, so be serious to all exams.
