Placements: More than 200 recruiters are there which includes various international firms also. Around 86% of students are placed, and most of the students get handsome packages. Nearly 40% of offers are made under the IT-software sector, and the top recruiters of the mechanical branch are Airbus Engineering Centre India Pvt. Ltd and AbsolutData Research and Analytics Pvt. Ltd. The average salary package offered is 19 LPA.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed, of which half of the students got placed in software, finance and consulting companies. The other half are placed in academia or research-based roles in healthcare companies. 100% of students are offered an internship either in industry or academia. Placements: Almost 84% of the students got placed in our course. The highest domestic salary package offered is around 70 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 13.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Brittania, Nestle, Pepsi, etc. Top roles offered are food process engineer and in farm machinery. Almost 70% of the students are eligible to take internships in certain startups and software companies like Microsoft.

Placements: The total batch size appearing for placements is approximately 1300 students. The percentage of students who got placed in my batch is 98%. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 16 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments and Intel. The percentage of students who got internships is 90%. The top roles offered are software engineer and electrical engineer.

Placements: About 65% of the students got placed from our university. The highest salary package offered was 5.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was Rs. 90,000 per annum. Goodyear was the top recruiter for our course. About 56% of the students get internships in Goodyear and Nestle company. They mostly offer marketing and sales roles.

Placements: From my batch people who were pursuing same course as me, I think more than 90% of them got placed. The annual package offered ranged from 9 LPA to 30 LPA. Goldman sachs offered the highest package, while EXL hired people in large number. Placements: Those who opted for placement, almost all of them were placed. The highest package was 20 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. About internships, many of my juniors got an internship in top companies. Mostly in data and software and data. Top roles offered are analyst, lecturer, software designer.

Placements: Around 65% of the students were placed through campus placements with an average salary package of 14 LPA in the passing out batch of our course. Top recruiters are Cairn India, ONGC and Schlumberger. Only around 20% of people in our batch got internships through campus in companies like Vedanta Ltd and some tech startups.

Placements: Being a Dual Degree student, I was fortunate to observe the placement of my own batch-mates. To my delight, every single one of my batch-mate, from my department were placed, that is to say, 100% placement. The placement from my batch was 100% and from the dual degree batch, it was above 80% considering that all of them did not prepare for the internship as they were looking for a career ahead in research. Placements: The placement is really good. This year a record number of students got different jobs around the world in so-called large companies such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. 5 students got package of 1 crore and every year the average remains almost 15 lacs.

Placements: 1.98% of students get placed. Actually most of the students learn coding non core subjects to get jobs. 2.2.5lakhs,1 Lacs,60000 per month. Actually future in India is very less. 3. Barclays Capital, American Express these companies offered jobs. These are non core companies. 4. Manager was the highest role offered. 5.12 Lacs per annum was the salary offered to our course. 6.10% per year get placement offers.

Placements: I am studying quality engineering design and manufacturing course. Every student gets placed every year in this course. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA. Placements: Placements scenario in our batch is very poor. The last passed out batch had zero placements. This year, the CDC team is trying its best to invite companies to recruit students of our batch. Mostly companies related to finance and consultancies visit our campus to recruit students.

Placements: Placement drives conducted in our college were good. Approximately 99% of the students from our batch got placed and that too in good companies. The highest salary package offered was around 54 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 16 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 24 LPA. Placements: A very good number of students who took part in the placement process got placed in various renowned companies both from India and abroad like GE, G&S, Facebook, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. Out of the total number of students getting placed, almost 50% of the students got placed in core fields, and the rest got placed in non-core fields like data analytics and finance.

Placements: Placements for our batch were pretty impressive. We received more than 1000 offers in the first phase of placements. Variety of roles like software profile, data analytics, banking, finance, consult and core were offered. The internship is a bit tricky as most of us end up getting one or another, but overall, the scenario is pretty good.

Placements: Every year, IIT Kharagpur achieves a new level in the field of placements. This year, IIT Kharagpur created a new record in this first placement phase of 2018-2019 by bagging more than 1,270 offers including PPOs by more than 170 companies. Placements: Students got good placement offers in the IT sector. But for core, only one company came for placements. So comparing with the previous year, the placements are quite good. In other departments also, students got good placement offers. Students who applied for government companies also got selected.

Placements: Last year, many students got an opportunity to work in many companies. Around 1,800 students belonging to B.Tech, M.Tech, and research courses got selected in the campus placements. Apple company also visited the campus and hired many students from our college. The placements are offered to students of all branches according to their CGPA.
