IIT Kharagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Approximately 75% Students were placed in my course. The highest was 45 LPA, the lowest was 4lpa, and the average was approximately 18 LPA. Maersk, cochin shipyard, Maersk. Internship is a little hard to get from my course even though 10 students managed to get an internship.

Placements: As of my knowledge, the placements are pretty good even though there is a recession in the market. I'm not sure of the figure, but around 1500+ placement offers have come, and 500+ internships have come so far this year. Many giants like Amazon, Microsoft, McKinsey, and others are hiring students, and the average packages are also 20+ LPA. And the college provides a great platform to shine, and you should also work on your skills.

Placements: Internships are offered by various companies here. Many students apply for gsoc and other such opportunities while some apply for internship at foreign universities. Most circuital branches have a good record of internship while core branches do not have a good internship score. Students get eligible for placements from their last year. The highest package offered are up to 2 crores for some candidate.

Placements: The placement scenario at IIT KGP is quite impressive, with an average package of around 22 LPA. The highest offer reached 1.69 CPA, with notable offers extended to both the CSE and Mathematics departments. The institute provides various opportunities for studying abroad, along with numerous internship options.

Placements: Since this is a research-oriented branch, most students opt for higher education. About 50 recent students secured placements with the highest package of 38 Lacs, and the median package is 15 Lacs. Organizations such as ISRO, DRDO, Eaton, Bajaj Auto, etc., hire about 50 to 60 percent of students for internships.

Placements: According to the latest Statistics around 70 students got placement with most of them from integrated M.Sc. or M.Teach. Placements: Approximately 80 are for B.Tech degree and 30 are for dual degrees. The highest package was 51 LPA. The lowest was 6 LPA and average package was 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are coal india, rio into and jindal. Approximately 60-70% got a internship. Most of them are paid and some are non paid.

Placements: This year, due to the recession, the placement drive was a bit low. That is why only around 85% of students are placed. The package is from the CSE department at 1.85 CPA. The average salary is around 20 LPA. This year, Google, Meta, Oracle and many other companies came for placements.

Placements: I am a student of M.Sc. . Mathematics at IIT Kharagpur (batch of 2025). Generally, placements in the mathematics department are very good because M.Tech in CSDP is also included in the mathematics department. But 90 percent of M.Sc. students in mathematics who opt for placements get placed in various EdTechs or IT sectors, depending on there interest. Placements: Around 70–80% of students are placed every year. The average placement last year was 17 lpa, and the highest was around 80 lpa. As I am currently a fresher, I don't have much idea of what the recruiting companies were last year. Most of the students go into non-core jobs, as there aren't many core companies that come. From this branch, several students also go for higher studies.

Placements: Usually, 55-60 percent of students are placed in this course, as many consider pursuing higher studies such as M.Tech or Ph.D. more viable. The minimum salary stands at around 10 Lacs, while the maximum reaches approximately 40 Lacs, with an average of 15 Lacs.

Placements: 98% of the students in the course were placed during the placement season. Companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, etc. have internship and placement offers on campus, with a minimum of INR 20 LPA for placement and around INR 2 LPA for a 3-month stipend in internships.

Placements: In our college 70 to 80% Students get placed every year. Our last year the highest package was 2.2 crore per annum and the lowest package was around 8.5 Lacs per annum. More than 400 companies comes to our college like amazon, facebook, Google etc. In CS branch there is 100% internship ratio.

Placements: Placements at IIT Kharagpur are very good. Students get placed in the world's top companies. Approximately 80% of students get placed, and the other 20% go for startups and other things. The highest package was INR 2.68 crore in 2023 at IIT Kharagpur. Every top recruiting company comes to IIT Kharagpur because it is the biggest IIT. I'm also an intern; approximately 60% of students got interns. Top roles are offered by software companies to CS students.

Placements: Almost 80-85% of the UG guys are placed. The highest package offered is in crores, around 3 crore every year. The average package would be around 14 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Quadeye, ITC, HUL, Axis Bank, DE Shaw, BNY Mellom, Rubrik, Alphagrep, Glean, NK Securities, Piramal, Samsung, Well Fargo, Udaan, Capital One, Trilogy Innovation, etc. Companies visit our campus for both internship and placement season.

Placements: From my department, all of them got placed by the end of placement phase 1. The highest package offered was INR 2.3 crores per annum, and the lowest was INR 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Databricks, Amazon, Flipkart, Accenture, DTL, etc. 95% of the students in my course got internships. The top roles offered for my department are software engineer, data analyst, software tester/QnA, and quantitative analyst.

Placements: Hi, studying at a top institute is a dream for every child. In India, the top government-funded universities are IITs. I am very happy to be a part of IIT. I am very happy to be part of this institute. Placements are provided to all undergraduate students at Kharagpur.
