Placements: IIT Roorkee attracts a wide range of companies for placements across various disciplines. Placements: 60 to 70% of students were placed, with the highest package at 35 LPA, the lowest at 9 LPA, and an average of 15 LPA. Top companies included Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, with 40% of students securing internship opportunities at big companies. The top roles offered were SDE and WDE.

Placements: There are 1600 students in our batch and from that, only 800,000 have been placed till now. The highest package is 1.5 crores, the lowest is 6 lakhs, and the average package is 25 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Also, like placements, only 50% of student got internships in many big and small companies. The top roles offered in our course are software development engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and data analysis.

Placements: I am enrolled in ECE (B.Tech). There are about 120 students in this course each year with a placement percentage of 90%. The highest package offered this year is 90 LPA and the lowest is 10 LPA with an average package of 28 LPA. There are many companies which recruits ECE students like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Micron Limited, Quantbox, Quadai, Idea, Net, Oracle and many more. Placements: In my branch, at least 80 students are in any batch. For this year, only 40 students are placed. This number is very low, as we study in IIT-like colleges. The top recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Reliance Industries Limited, and Info. Many students get PPO.

Placements: Placements are about 80–85%, but only 3 out of 180 in the 3rd year got internships. The highest package was 1.2 crore, and about 20 students got 50+ lac packages; the median package was around 16 lacs. For civil, the top recruiters are Larsen, Turbo, and Tata.

Placements: Approximately 70% of students are placed on campus; the highest salary is approximately 28 LPA and the average package is 18.5 LPA. 10% of students got good internships in civil engineering as well as in other IT sectors, and various students also got internships in their 2nd and 3rd years.

Placements: There are 174 kids in the 2026 batch. Our packages vary from 14 to 90 LPA but there is an average of 30 LPA. Also the internship last year wasn't good for our batch due to recession. Around 70 percent of the class got internship and almost all are placed sooner later.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is 69%. The highest package is 26 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.7 LPA for freshers. Companies such as Information Teach, IBM, Infosys, and more recruit from our course. The course offers internship opportunities.

Placements: The average placement package for Mechanical Engineering students at IIT Roorkee has been in the range of approximately 15–18 lacs per annum. The highest packages can vary significantly, often reaching above 40 lacs per annum. The lowest package could typically range between 6 and 8 lacs per annum.

Placements: Placement in our college is between 10 to 15 LPA Many students in my branch are interested in getting a job in non-core rather than core. Few students are interested in core and more than few preparing for competitive examination. College life is enjoyable .

Placements: The placement states are pretty good for IITR, but one thing I notice during internship season is that generally, companies are closed until day 2 or open only for higher branches like CSE, ECE, MnC, DSAI, etc. The lower branches don't even get the chance to apply to many companies because of their branch and then CGPA too. The packages provided vary in range, but on average, it is an INR 15–20 LPA package.

Placements: Like almost 80-85 percent students are places at end of their courses including on campus and off campus placements, As far as I have heard from my seniors the highest placement someone ever got was around 2CR+ something and the lowest was around less than 10 LPA. Top recruiters are google, Microsoft, JP Morgan many more. From my courses this year 85 students got internship from 120 students. Top roles offered are SDE, related to Data Science and ML, roles in Finance field and all.

Placements: All the students get placed in placement drives. The highest salary package offered is more than 2 CPA and the lowest salary package is 5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. More than 85% of students get internships in different companies.

Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crores per annum and the average salary package offered is 30 LPA. Almost all students get internships. Top roles offered are app developer, web developer, and data scientist.

Placements: 90% get placed in our course. Average package is 15 Lacs CTC. Internship ratio in campus is 50%. Top recruiting Companies are Bharat Nigam limited, Indian oil corporation, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Zomato, paytm etc. The highest package offered is 30 Lacs CTC, and the lowest is 10 Lacs.

Placements: For core course, companies are less, in IIT Roorkee coding culture is on Peak, students evolve their skills on their own via help of student clubs. Teach companies comes to recruit and give High packages. There is practicals om weekly basis and for tech related you got projects to complete which help you in placements.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA to 50 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Around 95% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Sprinklr, JPMC, TATA Motors, Deloitte, Jaguar Land Rover, Goldman Sachs, etc., visit our campus.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. The average salary package offered is 17 LPA, and the lowest salary package varies from company to company. The top recruiting company for our branch is Tata Steel. Around 30-40% of students got internships from our course. Students got good stipends. JPMC and Microsoft are leading recruiters.
