The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi other than General category are - 389 for OBC, 218 for SC, 121 for ST, 125 for EWS, 51 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

When enrolled in IIT B HU, you have the option to select different housing arrangements like other hostels, rooms, or PG accommodations based on personal preferences. Although the hostel has good amenities and there are a total of 16 hostel with beautiful gardens.

Category with valid GATE score BTech from IITs with CGPA of 8.00 without GATE are also eligible for admission. AMIE / Grad. IETE are eligible for the M.Tech programme at IIT BHU.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 1277 and closing rank was 1318. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2983 and 2983. Admission to Integrated BTech +M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 registration date was October 28 to November 22, 2024. JEE Main 2025 application form was available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. As the JEE Mains 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release session 2 application form on  January 31, 2025.
