No, direct admission is not valid at Imperial College of Engineering and Research (ICOER). Admission to all the UG & PG courses at the institute is entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for either state or any of the national-level entrance exams. The top accepted entrance exams at Imperial College of Engineering is JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, MHT CET, etc.

According to Imperial College of engineering information 70% of  marks in the 12th might not meet their typical criteria . The minimum of  90% - 95% is required to get into the Imperial college . Imperial College also requires BMAT and UKCAT exams to be cleared. So we need to get more than 70% in 12th to get seat in Imperial College of engineering 

The average package varies a lot on the basis of the course and department you choose, for example if you choose a PG or Masters course the average package would be a lot more because more packages of higher LPA would be offered. Also while checking for average package always look for median package as it offers a better image, its always preferred if the median and average are closer.

Internships are provided to the students at ICOER, but the opportunity is quite small. As it is a tier 3 college on the outskirts of Pune many top companies do not visit the campus, but some bright students (around 30%) do get the internships.

The administration is trying but the internships are not that great. But as a studnet you can always build your skills and applyu for internships offline or off campus.

Imperial College of Engineering application forms are open for all courses. Candidates seeking admission to any courses can apply online through the official website of the college. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based. Further, admission to BTech is based on JEE Main, MHT CET, followed by DTE counselling process. Additionally, applicants must have to full fill out the basic eligibility criteria for their desired courses.

The UG admission in ICOER is based on two exams MH-CET and JEE Mains, other than appearing in these exams and having a good enough rank to match the cutoff of your preffered course. The student also needs to have passed the class 12th or equivalent exam. For PG course the student must have passed the GATE or GAPT exam as per their course along with passing 12th standard.
