Admin here is so friendly with students and never makes any judgment calls.
Placements: College provides PBL (project-based learning) activities in groups, which are innovative but not very useful. Internships are not fully provided. If students want an internship, they have to find it themselves, but if they are skilled enough, college can help them out. The stipend for internships ranges from Rs. 6,000 - Rs. 15,000. The role of the internship depends on your branch, skill, and experience in that particular field.
Infrastructure: Annual fest always creates hype, and one fest creates hype not just in North Campus but all across Delhi and NCR. Campus has a vibrant and decorated garden at the front. On the left of it is our college's refreshment center. Exactly opposite our gate is St. Stephens College. Vishwavidyalaya Metro station is just a mile away.
Faculty: Faculty members are open-minded and friendly, but once students upset them, our internals are at risk. They will take revenge, taunt them, and spread negative things about them to both students and staff. Exams are mediocre, but students have to study hard. Some subjects are very tough.

IIT bhu- The dream of many.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our batch is around 90 percent, and most of the students get placed in high-profile companies with recruiters coming from companies including Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. There is also a special start-up incubator, Training and Placement Cell, etc., which contacts alumni for strong placement rates.
Infrastructure: The hostel accommodation is provided by the institution only, as every student is accommodated in the hostels, and there is no hassle. The facilities in our class include AC, a strong Wi-Fi connection, and the library also contains a lot of books and is equipped with AC. The classes have projectors.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and is very educated, as they completed their Ph.D. from reputed institutes and have various awards and honors under their names. The faculty helps us in every possible way and makes our concepts crystal clear. The semester exams are also not difficult and are very easy to pass.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in pursuing Materials Science and would like to explore more about the aspects. The events and fests are conducted every month so that students feel less academic stress. There are also many scholarships announced according to merit.

The college were my destiny lies.
Placements: This year's placement season has been tough. Several of my seniors are still awaiting placement. The highest package this year was 1.68 crore, and a total of 749 students were placed in our college. NK Securities was the top recruiting company. The internship season this year was exceedingly challenging, leading to many students with a CPI of 9+ not securing an internship.
Infrastructure: As it is an old IIT, previously known as IT-BHU, the infrastructure is quite old, and the food here in Banaras is not that great, but it serves its purpose for survival. Overall, the college is good. The labs are well-equipped, although some of the equipment is old; however, certain labs have newer, high-tech machines.
Faculty: Professors are so helpful that they encourage us to focus more on core subjects. Their guidance pushes us towards deeper, research and development-based studies. Some semesters are challenging, while others are easier.
Other: I chose this course because it was only available in a Tier 2 college, and I wanted more exposure, so I selected this college. The placement opportunities here are excellent. All the events in IITs are very happening, especially the FMC weekend held in IIT BHU Varanasi. It is incredibly helpful as it encourages newcomers in the field of digital arts, such as cinematography and photography.

IIT BHU—a dream college.
Placements: The placement rate at IIT BHU is great. Too many recruiting companies, such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Infosys, come for internships and placements. The highest package offered was ₹1.3 crore, while the average package was ₹31 crore per year. The percentage of student places was 85–90%.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided by our institute are of top-notch quality. The whole campus is surrounded by greenery everywhere. We also have a strong Wi-Fi connection provided here. The labs and the classrooms are also well-equipped with AC. The classrooms have a seating capacity of 100–150 students. The quality of the mess and canteen is also good. Medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers at IIT BHU are well-qualified and highly knowledgeable, as each and every teacher teaching here studied at prestigious institutions across the country. They explain our doubts pretty well and make our concepts crystal clear. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are a little difficult as students are competitive. The pass percentage on our campus is about 90%.
Other: I have chosen this course as I love to explore more about materials and their applications in day-to-day life. Our college has many events and festivals, such as Kashiyatra, Technex, FMC Weekend, etc.

Great campus life and a good place to study.
Placements: 100% students were placed in my course. The highest package was 32 Lacs with an average of 19.4 Lacs. All the packages were in non core sector. Top roles offered were in SDE. Many students in materials Science and technology have fetched an internship off campus as well as on campus.
Infrastructure: In the department of materials Science and technology, amazing facilities are available. We GAT good Wi-Fi, air conditioned classrooms, water cooler system in our department. We also have nicely built labs with all the required equipments. Hostel facilities are pretty average. Since it's a 100 years old campus. But the hostel life is amazing. Mess food is obviously like everywhere else. We have outstanding sports facilities. We also get free medical help.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and highly qualified sharing their amazing knowledge with us. The course curriculum is relevant. We have manufacturing practices and various other required courses which makes us industry ready. The semester exams are average, not very difficult and at the same time not very easy.
Other: We have an amazing campus life here. The fests held here are kashiyatra, technex, fmc weekend and many more.
