Faculty-wise, infrastructure-wise, opportunities-wise, and exposure-wise, the college is great.
Placements: A majority of the students get placed well since there is an active placement cell called JET. The average package is around 7 LPA for good courses. The top recruiting companies have been Deloitte, Accenture, Godrej, Brain and Company, etc. In previous batches, there were 200 placement opportunities, including fellowships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amongst the best. There is a sports complex with a gym, the campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and a library, computer labs, and psychology labs are other facilities. Being the oldest women's college in Delhi, it also has a museum and archive. For B.M.M.M.C. there are audio-visual production centre, studio, editing bays, etc. There is also a Translation centre. The hostel facilities are just like any college in India.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in their specific subjects; you need to be a regular student to know that. Semester exams are not difficult; this gives students the time and energy to invest in other projects during the course of the semester. The curriculum is the one followed in DU, obviously; the only thing that differs is the faculty and that is good. Also, being in any DU college provides one with opportunities in other colleges too. One may take part in special lecture series, competitions, fests, and even some courses or papers in other colleges too. Attendance is not very strict but one needs to maintain 66.7%, which is the eligibility criteria.
Other: Extracurricular activities have increased since the past year. At times, almost every other day, something would be going on in college. The college is wrapped in a cosy green environment; there are rainwater harvesting pits spread throughout the campus; there is also a plastic recycling store; and the campus is filled with a variety of birds, cats, and trees, which brings calm to the stressful lives of students.
