Review of International Maritime Institute.
Placements: Only 4 major companies visit our college for placements, and each of them hires not more than 3 students. Even major companies have stopped visiting our college now, or since the market getting many officers and don't have enough jobs. So, the interview process made tougher. But our college wants more students to take admission in it because it is benefitting from them. After you pay fees, it doesn't care whether you get placed or not.
Infrastructure: Rooms are pretty fine in the hostel, and in every room, about 4 students have to stay, which is compulsory. It is the worst part, and beds aren't up to the mark. The food served in the hostel is quite fine but don't put high expectations. On Sunday, good food is served. There is no air-conditioning system in the hostel. Our college is quite small as it is spread over only 1,000 square yards. Gym and the recreation room are not up to the mark at all. However, I guess you would be used to it but not up to the mark. The quality of the library is well. There is a swimming pool, which is visible from the hostel and classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers here are good and friendly. You can have fun with them and vice versa. In subjective matter also, they are good. But the course curriculum is of 4 years duration and is provided by Indian Maritime University. You will have good chief engineers and faculty members.
Other: I was amongst the lucky batches in which major companies visited. After those companies stopped visiting the campus, students suffered to get jobs. The campus life is very poor here, and there is no anything to keep you motivated. If you are self-motivated and disciplined, then it is good. There's no proper ground to play sports.

My college provides me a good quality food, faculty were supportive, and I'm overall fit here.
Placements: My College is a merchant navy institute. Here students get training to work on ships. Merchant navy basically a course to join trading by shipping industry. My college provides 100% placement. There are many courses but main is :- 1. DNS 2. B.Tech ( marine engineering. ). You will get sponsorship before admission if you join DNS. The highest rank salary ( Captain :- 10 Lacs per month ). As a cadet you will get 30,000 - 50,000 per month. Here world's top shipping companies come for placement such as maresk line, M.Sc. dockndail and many more. My institute is best institute in north India.
Infrastructure: Here you will get all possible facilities which you want. Here you treated as a cadet. Well furnished and AC classrooms and hostel. As this is navy training institute, you will get top quality food so that you will physically and mentally fit. All types of sports were played here. Medical facilities are also good because here fitness comes first.
Faculty: Teacher were helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is at best. If students are capable of doing good training then students find itself at a good place in Shipping industry. They helps when you were doing some extra work also.
Other: I love to were uniform unlike a normal civillian wears. I'm passionate about traveling. And moreover you will get in one of the India's the highest paid salary jobs. I wish more and more people join this industry.

It is the best maritime college in North India.
Placements: The average placement percentage in our college is 90%-95%. Companies like Maersk Line, M.Sc. PIL, Fleet, Synergy, Dockendale, etc., visit the campus regularly for placements. Recently our college has been tied-up with M.Sc. company. So there is no issue regarding placements and don't believe rumours.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the hostel provides 24*7 unlimited Wi-Fi facility. There are swimming Pool, ship in campus (where all shipping machinery like boiler, freshwater generator, purifier, main engine and other machinery are available in working condition). The college has a library, workshops like machine shop, welding shop, fitting shop, carpentry shop are some main equipment of our institute. Classrooms are equipped with green boards and projectors. The college also has football ground, cricket ground, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court, table tennis and other indoor-outdoor games fields. Gym facility is also available here.
Faculty: Almost 90% of faculty members of IMI College are chief engineers, captains and ship superintendent. They teache us marine-related subjects. Other 10% of teachers are used to teach us environment science, general mathematics, and some other subjects. So, there is no problem, according to faculty. For every subject, we have separate faculty members. All faculty members have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. They always ready to help the students and encourage them to do something huge and new. For example, recently, a big working project that is Oily Water Separator is done by B.Tech 3rd year students with the help of faculty members.
Other: Every year on the 5th of April (National Maritime Day) a sport and cultural events are conducted, in which some maritime colleges participate. Inter batch competition is conducted between different batches, then the winner of the competition is awarded by our college.
