Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

Integrated dual degree programme for civil engineering.
Placements: 70% of students were placed in this course. 400,000 LPA is the lowest, and 1,600,000 LPA is the highest, with an average of 9.5 LPA. CERD, Amazon, and Google were the top recruiting companies. 99% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered were structural engineer and construction management.
Infrastructure: The college was good, and the surrounding area was awesome, with many trees and plants. The Wi-Fi connection is poor in the department. You can get it in the hostel and library. We can say the food is okay in the hostel, but sometimes we can't eat it. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and very knowledgeable. Some professors' teaching was very good, and some were average. The pass percentage may vary yearly; on average, 70% of the students will pass. The exam papers were sometimes easy and sometimes tough.
Other: A cooling water facility in every department needs to be installed. We have many events every month. There is an event we can enjoy every month.

It is a good college for those students who want to study.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 5.5 LPA - 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college was built 50 years ago. The infrastructure is average. There are no sanitization facilities on our campus. Laboratories are well-equipped. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is very good. Sports and games are recommended for those students who stay in the hostel.
Faculty: I would recommend not to depend on faculty members. All faculty members are well-educated. They will teach only 40-50% of the syllabus. The syllabus has to be covered by students. The teaching quality is very good. All teachers are Ph.D. scholars. Semester exams are very tough.
Other: I do not recommend this college to those students who want to have fun.

Overall, it is a very good college if you want to study in low cost.
Placements: In my batch, more than 50% of students got placed in campus placements, where only 60% of students attempted for it. The average package offered was around 4 LPA. The highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA in my batch. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro etc. Nearly half the students are offered paid internships.
Infrastructure: As it is a government university, it has a good infrastructure in hostels, libraries, departmental blocks etc. There are separate hostel buildings for students of different courses, and a separate hostel is available for international students. We have a single canteen with average facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are mostly professors and assistant professors with good qualifications. They are very helpful. The course curriculum is as per the government terms, and it is enough for students to get into their respective industries. Exams are a bit difficult compared to private colleges in Hyderabad.
Other: The fee we pay is justified, and students are provided with different scholarships to help their financial needs. I got into this course to become a structural civil engineer, and I got the best time here for my career. We had a great time having fun in the college fests, events and workshops conducted in our department fests.

I am dissatisfied with the teaching quality and no placements in the civil department.
Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The only company which recruited us offered the salary package only 3.7 LPA. Only the TCS company recruited us. We get very good opportunities in the government sector, but as of now, we haven't got any jobs through campus placements. None of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are excellent. Our college provides free Wi-Fi facility for students and labs and library for a long time. There are also good classrooms. Hostel facilities are really bad. They don't provide quality food, and the canteen has been closed for months and not yet opened, which really causing trouble. The sports complex is available far from girls hostel and near to boys hostel so that 99% of boys occupy the sports complex. So, girl's don't get a chance.
Faculty: Faculty members here are qualified and knowledgeable, but not all the teachers have skills to teach. So the teaching quality is not good. The course curriculum is relevant. But students were not industry-ready as we don't have any application knowledge as we haven't gone to any site visit and educational tour which make us feel sad.
Other: Civil engineering is about the beauty of creation, and in this course, we get to see things which make us understand more. This field is evergreen as the process of construction is never-ending. So, I have chosen this course. I wish that our college should improve teaching quality and provide practical knowledge. Fest is conducted for 2 days which includes events and extracurricular activities which is a good fest. The campus connectivity and surroundings are also very good. Scholarships are provided on time which we appreciate.

Dissatisfied because of faculty, placements and facilities but satisfied with infrastructure.
Placements: Only 20% of students were placed. The highest package was around 13 Lacs for B.Tech students and around 17 Lacs for integrated M.Tech students. TCS is the top recruiting company. This is quite funny question to answer, our the highest and the lowest was just 3.5 Lacs.0% students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Our department is so cool and good to see. Wi-Fi is bit slow in our department. Classroom s were neat and tidy. Our own department library (GVK library) is so good with plenty of books to read and peaceful atmosphere. Labs were with good equipments but some of them has to be replaced with the new ones. Our hostel is too bad and the worst. Our food is very good to see, good to smell but very bad at taste. Canteen still closed due to some tender issues. Our hostel is bad with leakages everyone. Medical facilities, sports and games were improving slowly. Recently sports complex has been constructed with good infrastructure with lot of gym equipment and etc.
Faculty: Our teachers were highly qualified, more knowledgeable and they were so helpful. But some of them are very bad at teaching. No, Course curriculum need to be improved. Students would not be ready to work in industry because we were not taught practically. Teaching staff should have an interview before they were hired.
Other: I personally interested to chose civil engineering. The best thing about our course is we are everywhere and the world is around us. More practical knowledge should be offered to students. Every year we conduct events and fest, they were useful to some people. Campus surroundings is thickly populated and some of the scholarships are provided for us. No extra curricular activities for us. Campus is full crowded with different kinds of students.

Hello, Placements are the essential elements of any college these days. However in practice, this depends a lot on the industrial climate in the country. I feel that this is likely to be buoyant in years to come and hence you will get placed by your college.

Yes, you still have a chance in getting a seat in IDP (B.Tech +M.Tech ) in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering . Also, don’t forget to check with EEE (IDP) also. This year, there may be a chance.
