Exploring the campus of Kamla Nehru College.
Placements: The college, as such, does not provide any placement opportunities but the placement cell of the college provides internships on a pretty regular basis for all the courses and all the years. The top roles that students get from my course are UPSC jobs by securing good ranks.
Infrastructure: The college does provide Wi-Fi and the classrooms also have projectors installed in them. The library is big, consisting of 3 floors and a large amount of books are available for the students. Resources include e-resources. The ground at our college is also pretty big.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are very dedicated to teaching and they all teach properly and are also very supportive of the students. The course is very relevant for students who want to give UPSC or government exams. The exams are moderately easy to pass, too.
Other: I chose this course I liked political science as a subject a lot. I love this course because this is my area of interest and for someone who is interested in politics. The annual fest is very good too.

Review: Kamala Nehru college .
Placements: I'm pursuing political science honors from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. This course usually doesn't provide placement opportunities and mostly the students of this department have plans either for competitive exams or academic fields or may be for higher studies from abroad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not that good. Sometimes we face shortage of rooms for our class. Apart from this, the library is quite big, consisting of a wide range of books, novels, journals, etc. Classrooms are good and spacious, and Wi-Fi connectivity is also well. This college do not provide any hostel facility so you have to look for PG or any flat.
Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable and well qualified in their field. They have completed their Ph.D. and M.Phil. Political Science is a theory paper so it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too tough; if you have studied well and revised it, you can definitely score good marks. Passing percentage is 30%.

KNC is a place where you feel peace.
Placements: Not many students were placed in the previous year. Around 20%-30% of students were placed. Many students from our course as well as from other courses have been recruited by highly reputed companies such as EY, KPMG, Wipro, WFS, Planetspark, Leverage Education, Express Group, Board Infinity, and many more. One very interesting thing about KNC is that it has a separate placement cell that is committed to providing training and professional opportunities throughout our academic careers. They do have an Instagram handle where they post about upcoming internships and jobs.
Infrastructure: KNC does not provide any hostel facilities, and you have to find PGs near the college. The best thing about KNC is its infrastructure. If you're looking for a quiet place where you can feel tropical vibes, this is the place for you. The college provides various facilities, such as free Wi-Fi, computer labs, seminar rooms, a gymnasium, medical facilities, and indoor and outdoor sports. It has a three-storied library fully equipped with a variety of books in different genres. Students can borrow the books if they have a library card, which is also free. The campus also has a very spacious canteen, which serves healthy and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Along with the canteen, there is a beautiful amphitheater, Chaupal. It's the heart of the campus for many of us.
Faculty: Teachers are quite amazing here. They are highly qualified and have more than 25 years of experience. They are passionate, qualified, and cheerful teachers in whom I have so much faith. They have been so helpful since the day of orientation, which is what attracted me the most about the faculty. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make us industry-ready, but we have to work on our own. We can't rely solely on college to place us in good companies.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a better insight into the politics of the entire world, not just India. Through this course, I will get a chance to understand various philosophies given by our very famous political thinkers. The thing that I wish should get better is the size of its classrooms. The college should work more on providing placements to students. If you are a person who loves events and festivals, then this college is definitely for you because there are a number of events, festivals, and co-curricular activities such as open mics, debates, skits, etc.
