Top Recruiters: Companies like TCS, Zoho, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus for placements, although the majority of students get placed in IT firms.

Internship Opportunities: Fewer students get internships, and these opportunities may not always be related to their core field.

Teaching Quality: Some students praised the teaching quality, saying that teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Others found the teaching quality inconsistent, with some teachers being more effective than others.

Curriculum Relevance: Many students felt that the course curriculum could be improved, making students more industry-ready. Some departments reported a gap between theory and practice.

Infrastructure and facilities are good, but dissatisfied with the faculty and placements.
Placements: Since we are the first batch in civil engineering, the placements offered are not up to the mark. Only a few construction based companies with salary package up to 2 LPA visited the campus for placements. Companies from Chennai also offered placements for students, but everyone didn't get any confirmation from them. Placements in the college might have improved now.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-ventilated with projectors. Infrastructure facilities provided in the college are worth the money. There is spacious greenery around the campus. Not much importance was given to sports activities. Bus facilities are good for all the localities. Centralised library and labs in the college are in good condition with good equipment.
Faculty: As mentioned above, since we were the first batch, we haven't got experienced staff members. Others department have some well-experienced professors. The teaching methods of some faculty members are the worst, and the students face a lot of pressure. They don't try to extract the talent from students.
Other: Every year, cultural events are organised in the college. The campus connectivity is poor since buses are only available at particular timings. The campus surroundings are clean and well-maintained. Excess fee is collected for some basic reasons.

This college is the best.
Placements: In the last semester, 3 or 4 companies come for placements. But, the vacancies will be only 3 to 4. Companies HR does not come to our college. We have to go to another college for placements. The companies are not too much good. The students who were recruited have to sign a bond for 2 to 3 years. If anyone leaves the company, they have to pay the penalty.
Infrastructure: All the things are available in this college. The classrooms are good but are not air-conditioned. Chemistry and physics labs are there. There are four computer labs and one conference room, where all the things are described with the department students. There are a big playground and a flower garden etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and too much helpful. They share all the things with us. All the teacher's behaviour is good. They inspired us very much. The course fee is a little bit high. But, we get all the good things. The college offers many courses such as civil, mechanical, electrical and automobile.
Other: I didn't get any scholarship.

Daily test with no fest and no tour.
Placements: Some startup companies offer the salaries of around 10k to 20k. We can expect some experienced companies, but however, we can't expect such big companies like L&T as an on-campus drive. The pay scale may be around 25k to 30k. The good thing is they make you get placed only in core companies. But, we cant expect much.
Infrastructure: Lack of infrastructure, we don't have Wi-Fi, we just have small size ground, and they don't give importance to it, usually allowed to play after college hours. We have a library with reference books only and with blocked sites in the digital library. We got the limited resource. We have never seen good medical facilities.
Faculty: We have qualified faculty with few years of experience, but we have a concern with their teaching methodology. When we talk about the industrial visit, we just have 1-day visit per year, sometimes, that too gets cancelled. The faculty members are strict, would not let any free hours. We can't expect good efficiency since we don't have any break between class hours.
Other: This campus won't let you do extracurricular activities. There are no events or fests. However, we have a one-day common symposium. Around the campus, you won't find any shops since it lies on the border.

Review of Kingston Engineering College.
Placements: In our college, almost 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, HCL, etc., visited our campus. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships. Top roles offered were HR and manager.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food in the hostel was good. Electricity was available 24X7. The canteen was open until 7 p.m. Medical facilities were available. Sports and games facilities were available.
Faculty: The teaching quality was excellent. Our teachers were excellent and helpful. Exams were difficult. We had excellent teachers to train our students. The pass percentage was 45%. Our college offered many courses, such as mechanical, civil, computer science, electricals, etc.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in construction sites. Extracurricular activities were held. Scholarships were available.
