Is B.E./B.Tech at Kingston Engineering College worth the investment?

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's a summary of what they had to say:

Placement Record: While the college claims to have a decent placement record, the reality is that only around 45% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, while the average salary range is between 5-6 LPA.

Top Recruiters: Companies like TCS, Zoho, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus for placements, although the majority of students get placed in IT firms.

Internship Opportunities: Fewer students get internships, and these opportunities may not always be related to their core field.

Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has good infrastructure, including well-maintained labs, a library, and hostels. However, Wi-Fi is only available in limited areas, and mobile phones are not allowed on campus.

Teaching Quality: Some students praised the teaching quality, saying that teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Others found the teaching quality inconsistent, with some teachers being more effective than others.

Curriculum Relevance: Many students felt that the course curriculum could be improved, making students more industry-ready. Some departments reported a gap between theory and practice.

In conclusion, while Kingston Engineering College has some positive aspects, such as a relatively good infrastructure and placement record, the overall experience seems to be mixed. Prospective students should weigh these factors carefully before investing in the program.

Here are some key takeaways:

Disaster because of their rules.
Placements: More than 70% of the students of our department will get selected in the campus drive every year. But most of the companies for on campus will be of BPO, much of the core companies won't be coming. After the selection process, many students will not get the call letter from the company side.
Infrastructure: There are the digital classrooms, labs, library, e-journals, purified water throughout the campus. There are the buses for the nearby areas. There is only the basic infrastructure and that too they are not maintaining well. There are many advanced features in the market, but the college is not providing.
Faculty: The faculty members use the teaching methods like blackboard and PPT. Some of them have knowledge. Some of them just finished their PG and joined here as a lecturer. The faculty member will take classes without the subject knowledge. There are no specialists in each subject, all the faculty will guide all the students.
