I am satisfied with our college. It provides space for learning.
Placements: Placements are average in our college. Many companies like Caterpillar, Daimler, Volvo, Toleram, Kineaxis, Hyundai, Mu Sigma, Lucas, TVS, and other IT sector companies like Accenture, Wipro, CTS, etc., visit our college. Students got core job roles like designing, supply chain, and procurement.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are very high. It is totally in one's interest to take maximum knowledge out of the labs. The department has many advanced machines like 5-axis CnC machines, Robotic arm welding, CMM, etc. All labs are sophisticated, and all basic and advanced equipment is available in our college. The quality of the hostel food is decent. They provide special food. The hostel has a decent environment. Our college has a separate lecture hall complex. All classrooms and the library are well-constructed with books from various departments without any lack. Access to Wi-Fi is limited.
Faculty: All teachers are qualified to handle subjects. They completed their masters. The lab assistants are well-experienced in handling the machines related to theoretical knowledge. The curriculum needs to be a little updated in terms of some topics and subjects. Subjects and electives taught in higher semesters make a person face the industry. Semester exams are good in every aspect for students. Every course will have course outcomes and program outcomes which is a concern for faculty members.
Other: Industrial-related topics should be included more in the course. Our college has many events and symposiums for departments in even semesters. We have clubs, NSS, NSO, YRC, and two grand cultural fests like Mitafest and Sivaranjini.

I am very satisfied, and it is a fantastic institute.
Placements: I am studying B.E production engineering course, and it is actually an excellent course. We gain very much knowledge from it. Staff members in our course are very helpful. About 80% of students get placed from our course. Girls in this course are preferred more for placements. The salary package offered is approximately 10 LPA-4 LPA. Top companies like Caterpillar, Hyundai, Ford, Titan, Cumi, etc., have recruited students from here. About 50% of the students got internships in Caterpillar and Titan.
Infrastructure: There are advanced machines and sophisticated analytical instrument facilities like university potential for excellence (UPE), department laboratory and centre for excellence laboratories. In UPE, there are machines like 5-axis milling, 3-axis gantry robot with software, etc. For the department, there are a metallurgy laboratory, material testing laboratory, metal forming, etc. The quality of food and other facilities are excellent here. There are many labs from Siemens like CAD, NX, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is very good. We can approach them at any time for doubts. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes us qualified for industry works. Semester exams are a little difficult. The pass percentage is 75%. Our college conducts assessment and also considers marks scored in that.
Other: The reason for me to choose this course is the placement offers provided for it. As a woman, I get to know more on-site works related to mechanical. Activities like aptitude sessions, a placement training programme, creating awareness programme, etc., are conducted. It is a very good initiative. Symposium named Expro is conducted in even semester.

MIT is a good college in terms of infrastructure, education and placements.
Placements: Out of 60 students in my batch, 43 students got placed in this course. The highest package offered is 12 to 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 to 5 LPA. Caterpillar is the topmost recruiting company in our course.
Infrastructure: Madras Institute of Technology has a well-equipped library and good hostel facilities. Food provided in the hostel is worth every penny. A health care center is available in our college, and it provides medical assistance for students. Sports and club activities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and experienced. But we have to put in the effort to study. The production technology course is curriculum relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. As I am from 1st year and didn't go to the college due to this pandemic situation, I don't know much about this.
Other: I chose this course because it is a new course and I wanted to try it. More practical knowledge should be improved in this course.

In this college, you will get true experience of life in the early days of your career.
Placements: Most of the companies will recruit students from CS and IT departments, and only a few mechanical companies will visit here for campus recruitment. The top company which visited our campus for placements when I was graduated was Google. Most of our batchmates did their internships on their own.
Infrastructure: Overall, the facilities provided here were good, and the staff members working there were really good and interactive. The warden is very nice and always provides suggestions, and the administrative department was very good. The quality of the food served was satisfactory most of the times, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Faculty: The course curriculum was world-class here, and the faculty members were approachable. They guide the students all the time, and they helped me a lot during my difficulties in academics. They conducted one on one session as well for students who were weak in academics.
Other: My main motive was to learn peer to peer and get more insights from faculty members because most of the faculty members have an experience of more than 10 years. About 25% of faculty members have an experience of more than 25 years in teaching.
