Many students secure internships and pre-placement offers ensuring a strong start to their careers. The average placement package is competitive with top performers receiving lucrative offers.

College is good, some teachers are good, but students always want to bunk classes.
Placements: Right now I am in 3rd year, so I don't know much about it, but I have heard from seniors that the placement cell does its work very efficiently to get students placed. Previously, students got placed in good companies and are now in respected positions, which is motivating.
Infrastructure: The main issue is about the network and Wi-Fi. The college does not provide Wi-Fi to us, and additionally, the network in the whole campus is very poor, making it very difficult to contact each other. In emergencies, it's also difficult. In the library, Wi-Fi is available, but there is no common room for girls, washrooms are untidy, and the canteen provides very bad food.
Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Students in the college are interested in bunking, and sometimes teachers also promote bunking, which is very shameful. Not all the teachers, but some. The semester exams are good.
Other: There are no fests, only boring seminars and events that happen sometimes. The crowd is more in our college, and the surroundings are pretty nice. I chose the college because of the placement.

Less fees and decent placement.
Placements: Around 90 percent of the students were placed in 2020-2024 batch. Placements were decent in time of global recession. Highest package was around 52 LPA and lowest was 3.5 LPA. Average would be around 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS and HCL. Mostly CSE and ECE branches were preferred for software developer role. Many students got internships also but data is not disclosed.
Infrastructure: For my course which is ECE labs are decent but equipments in some of the labs are not in working conditions. WiFi connectivity is also slow and classrooms are just basic, not so good. Hostels are below average. But mess food is quite good. And library is also quite decent. Medical facilities are not known.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable. But lab assistants are not so good. Teachers also help before exam providing suitable theory and learning material for exams. They also provide a pdf of some books helping in theory section. Difficulty level of exams are quite good. It will check all your theory and practical skills.
Other: Fees that you pay for this college will be very low and knowledge you get is good. So it is a quite value for money. Placements are decent you have to prove yourself in the placement. Crowd is also decent since it is located in Delhi. Events are below average. It is near metro station around 1km so connectivity is also good. But there are no extracurricular activities. Campus surrounding is also good. A big park is also there and there is a police station also near the campus. But campus area is small around 8 acres.

Good college but needs improvement.
Placements: Around 80% of the students were placed, including all branches. The highest package was 45 LPA and the lowest was 4 LPA. The average package in MSIT is 7 LPA. Big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, ZS, Atlassian, etc. are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at my college are not that good. The campus is only eight acres, and the sports facilities are inadequate. The hostels are not that great, either. However, the MBA and LAW blocks have excellent infrastructure, and the BTech building has labs on each floor.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly supportive, hard working and highly qualified. They come up with new ways of teaching to ensure that all the topics and doubts of the students are cleared. The syllabus and curriculum are more or less okay. The exams are not that difficult, with plenty of resources available online.
Other: I chose Electronics and Communication because I've always been intrigued by how hardware and software work at the most basic level. The varying branches of the field, such as embedded systems and Arduino, are fascinating. The events and festivals at my college are not that great, and the campus is small. You would be better off devoting your time to studying separately to be industry-ready. Do participate in hackathons and other extracurricular activities that are offered.

Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement is just fine at this college; not that good, not that bad either. Every year, around 60% of the students in my course get placements, out of which half already secure internships in their fields, but the rest struggle to find jobs. So overall, the placement is just fine.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and campus of the college are worth appreciating. Although the campus is a bit small, it includes all the necessary facilities: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a library, and computer labs. I never lived in the college hostel, but they seem to be quite good too. The rooms are spacious enough for two students and their belongings.
Faculty: The teachers are not very qualified; not all of them are postgraduates, yet they manage to teach us well here. To be honest, the teachers are not so good. They can be rude, often unable to answer many of our questions, sometimes late for class, and what they teach, though within the syllabus, is very difficult to understand. The exams they set are so difficult that the pass percentage here is also 40%.
Other: I chose this college because the fees were lower compared to other larger colleges.

Yes, there are provisions for this. The upgrade is done on the basis of your first year scores and number of students applying for the upgrade. The higher your rank is among all the applicants, more are your chance to get the priority for upgrade.

You need not to go for any specific books. Just keep preparing for JEE well, that will automatically prepare you for IPU CET.

It depends on different subjects. There are foreign authors like Oppenheim for Signals and Systems, and then there are local authors that are generally written by professors in IP University itself such as Sanjay Sharma for Communication Systems. For good marks, use local authors and books written f
