I recommended that students join MANET.
Placements: Our college has few placements. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. It is not in the top 5 institutes in India. I would recommend finding some other college to join the merchant navy, like Tolani, Anglo-Eastern, IMU, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Our classrooms and labs are good. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus or in the hostel. There are barricades outside the hostel, so cadets can not go outside the campus to visit someone. A marine college is different from other colleges, but there must be freedom for cadets. There is a hostel for boys and girls. Girls have to enter from another door and are completely detached. The hostel wardens are very supportive.
Faculty: Our teachers are excellent. There are very few admissions in MANET, with about 10 to 15 students in 2023. Therefore, they are trying to fail students and make them repeat their semesters to gain funds for running the college. In 2020, there was a batch of B.Sc. in nautical science students. They are currently in their 3rd and final year. Their first-year results were declared in February 2023, and almost 50% of students failed their exams. Now, the college is trying to make them repeat this particular semester. Our teachers change according to their moods.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue something extraordinary and enjoy life. MANET is not the right college to do that. The thing I wish was better is the standard of living in the hostel. Our teachers should be more concerned about the student's future than how to extract more funds from him and ruin his career by demoting him. They are very particular about the rules, but these rules change according to their wishes. A 6-month semester can be shortened to a 2-month semester to save time, but the suspension valid for a 6-month semester is the same as for a 2-month semester. Our college has an excellent campus. Events are organised well. The campus crowd is good. Around 80% of students want Jadhav sir to be removed from this position. There was a big situation that occurred inside the hostel, which can prove how badly students want him to leave.

The college I prefer is for students who are enthusiastic about this field.
Placements: In our college, almost 80% of students are placed. Every student in this college will get a placement if focused on his/her studies. You will be able to advance to the rank of chief engineer on board ship and technical head in the office if you complete this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is excellent. The hostel rooms are the best. The course is also well-developed and stable. Our classrooms are well-furnished, and there is natural ventilation. They are looking toward sports and games. You have a good amount of time and a good environment for sports.
Faculty: Our faculty members are the best in their fields and they have a lot of knowledge. The semester exams are conducted in a well-organised manner and smoothly. The exams are not that difficult. If you study regularly, you will be able to score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I've been interested in it since I was a child, inspired by my uncle, who works in this field with efficiency and dedication. Events are not held frequently but they are held once a year.

Our college has the best faculty members and industry-ready cadets.
Placements: Placements have increased over the past few years and play a crucial role. Top recruiting companies that visit our campus for campus recruitment are some of the best out there, having container vessels, bulk carriers, tankers, and gas carriers, e.g., BW Maritime, Chevron, MOL, Maersk, XT Shipping, etc. The salary offered to a trainee varies by company and ranges between USD 450 and USD 1200. Top roles offered are trainee engineer after completing a B.Tech in marine engineering and deck cadet after completing a B.Sc. in nautical science.
Infrastructure: The institute provides one of the finest infrastructures with fully equipped classrooms having ethernet connectivity with projectors. There are well-furnished libraries with internet facilities too. We have fully equipped laboratories for the respective fields with the latest teaching methods. The hostel facilities are among the best in comparison to other institutes, with three-sharing accommodations and shared washrooms. The food quality in the mess is remarkable, with a well-rounded diet for the cadets.
Faculty: Our teachers mentoring in this academy are highly trained professionals in the merchant navy, having completed many years of service in the merchant navy as chief engineers, captains, and superintendents. The course is very well drafted to make the cadets employable in the outside world. This includes various initiatives taken by the faculty members, such as the MANET Comprehensive Training Programme, where cadets get hands-on experience beforehand, which makes them industry-ready. The passing percentage in the examinations for B.Tech marine cadets is 50%.

Good faculty members, above average placements, Infrastructure is best from others.
Placements: The college provides 100% opportunity to students to get selected in a company. The deserving candidates are given preference and most of the times get selected in an ownership company. There are various ownership and manage companies that come to MANET every year. I myself got placed in BW Maritime. Other companies like Mearsk Tankers, Mearsk lines, BW Maritime, MOL Tankers and MOL Maritime India, XT shipping, Chevron, MTM, AZA, SEASPAN and many more companies recruit heavily.
Infrastructure: I must say that the hostel infrastructure and the quality of food are the best as compared to other marine colleges. Though the food is not as good as at home, quality and hygiene are paramount. About college infrastructure, though the workshops, labs and Ship in Campus are old but are well maintained.
Faculty: Most of the teaching staff has hands-on onboard experience. The chief engineers and captains with more than 20 years of experience onboard teach us. The syllabus and the curriculum are revised after a few years but there are a few subjects which we are studying but are of no use onboard.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are very good in condition. Labs are well-equipped. The hostel is good and clean. The hostel facilities are good. The food served in the hostel is hygienic.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable and qualified. Their teaching quality is excellent. They teach us by using modern techniques. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is good.
