Worthless and Fit for nothing.
Placements: We all haven't got any campus interviews or placements. Our college is very poor in handling these kinds of job offers. They won't even consider it as a thing. Our senior batches, super senior batches, our batches and our junior batches became very disappointed with our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is cheap. We don't even have proper and clean restrooms for both day scholars and hostlers. And I as a hosteller would give no stars to the facilities. Because the first-year hostel was okay but remaining 3 years of the hostel was a disaster. There was no water for toilets. Very unclean mess facilities and food preparations were also the same.
Faculty: Only a few are eligible for teaching from all the faculty members. Rest of the staffs are for namesake. The students are struggling in their lessons because of these staff members. Moreover, the passed out students will join as a staff in our college without any experience. They are very useless.
Other: The only thing which is positive is our hostel day celebrations. Other things are very poor in our college in all ways. Our engineering life was a disaster and the same with our senior batches.

The worst ever engineering college in Tamil Nadu. Please don't prefer this college.
Placements: During my college days, the placement cell was poor in the activity. Poor in caring the students for the placements. During early times of my college days, Infosys is the only major company visited for the placements and hired around 20-30 members. After 2012 it reduced to 18. In 2013, the Infosys not even visited our college due to the poor management and maintenance in the campus.
Infrastructure: According to the infrastructure, my college is fully equipped with the lab in all the courses. The interesting part is even the lab assistants have enough knowledge than our professors. My college is now 50 years old. They built around two new blocks during my course period. Still, they are in construction period alone. The worst part of my college infrastructure is the hostel and restrooms are poor in maintenance. Due to poor maintenance of the restrooms, I had health issues like urinal infection.
Faculty: At the earlier day of my course, there are many senior staff members in my college. Later they all went to another college due to management issues. During my course period, my department HOD has resigned the job. Then a worthless new HOD is appointed still she is continuing. My concern is on the worst course curriculum college in Trichy.
Other: The worst college in conducting the events also. There is no involvement of management to organise a hostel day, college day symposium, etc. We suffered a lot during my college days.

Choose if you have no other choice.
Placements: To be frank, the placements offered in my college was nil for our seniors. Around 12 companies visited our college during our final year, but all of them were offering low packages and the range was from 75,000 per annum to 2.2 lakhs per annum. No internship was ever given to any student during our tenure of study and for our seniors either. But the training and placement department has been building up for the past one year and the students are being given extra coaching to develop their skills. That might surely be helpful to perform well in off-campus drives.
Infrastructure: The labs are better when compared to other colleges in the region. The computers are well-maintained, but the usage of pen-drives and other such devices is not advisable as the computers are inflicted with many viruses. Wi-Fi is available inside the hostel premises. But it cannot be used during the college hours by the students as it is password-protected. However, free Wi-Fi is available during the morning hours for around 30 minutes. The library is worth mentioning as there are plenty of books to enhance knowledge in a particular subject. Also, there are plenty of books for the postgraduate students too, but normal literature and novels are hardly ever seen on the shelves. Around 60-70 students accommodate the classrooms of ECE, mechanical and civil departments. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, with 3 fans and 2 tube-lights per classroom. The canteen food is good and I never found it tasteless. But there have been several reportings of unhealthy food being provided in the hostels, for both boys and girls. The students have even been taken to the hospital due to food poisoning once or twice during the 4 years of our study here. There are plenty of college buses available for the day scholars. But the thing is, the buses to a few particular places keep on changing and this becomes a lot of headache for the commuters, causing them to walk in and around the college, asking for almost all the drivers if they would take them to the particular place. But they are punctual and hardly arrive or depart late. There are hardly a few trees inside the college which makes the place extra hot during summer.
Faculty: The faculty members are a mixture of extremely learned and experienced ones and those who just completed the same course that we study here. There are some staff members (countable) who are very helpful, but almost all of the rest are least concerned about how we study and what marks we get. Starting from the 1st semester, I have not completed a single semester where all the 5 units were taught by the faculty. In all the semesters, the last 2 units were completely our responsibility to cover, perhaps due to the limited number of working days available. If you wish to have industry exposure, then this college should really cross your thoughts because all you are exposed to is the college and its premises, and no other exposure is given to you by the authorities. The student to faculty ratio is around 60:1 generally. The faculty members do suggest textbooks which can be taken from the library. So if you are good at sell-learning, then you may not be so comfortable.
Other: Coming to other topics, if you are a CBSE student, then choosing this college would be a matter of regret because 99% of the staff members use pure Tamil for teaching. It might be difficult to believe that even English was taught in Tamil during the first year because of the high number of Tamil-medium students compared to the English-medium ones. So if you are a state syllabus student, then chances are that you might get the concepts really well, unlike those of CBSE students. And coming to the cultural fests, the students have utmost freedom on that day as they are free to choose what they want to perform. Every year, the top performers in academics are awarded along with those who excel in symposiums held at other colleges all over India. The chief guests are mostly those who are the alumni of the same college, who are now in a good position. So, if you are a believer that bright students can perform well no matter what the college they study in, then this college is a good choice. But if you are someone who believes that little help from the college is also needed to excel in life, then this might not be a good option.
