A two-year MTech programme is available at NIT Jalandhar. There are 16 specialisations available for this programme. There are two options for students to be admitted to the M.Tech programme at NIT Jalandhar. They either need to qualify for GATE and appear for CCMT Counselling. Another option is to get admission through the Self-Sponsored category via only a GATE score.

Additionally, non-GATE-qualified candidates can also be admitted by taking the entrance test held by the particular departments at NIT Jalandhar.
