It is one of the finest engineering colleges in Kolkata.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, air conditioners, a central library, and all the other facilities are available. There is no canteen. Hostel facilities are not available. A games corner and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good. It is relevant. Semester exams are good. The pass percentage is 97%.
Other: I chose this course because it is suitable for my career. All events, workshops, fests, and activities are conducted to inspire you to pursue the course.

Faculty members are extremely helpful but the infrastructure is very poor.
Placements: 69% students got placed in different branches. The highest package was 32 LPA from Amazon. The lowest package was 3.6 LPA and average package was 6.8 LPA. Amazon, cognizant, Wipro and TCS are the top recruiters. 20% students get internship and most of the students get placed.
Infrastructure: Due to Amphan storm, most of the sheds of the college are damaged and they are not being renovated. Free Wi-Fi is available with 3 MBPS speed. Labs and classrooms are below average. ACs are only for show. Hostel is not open yet. Mess and canteen’s food is below average. Only annual sports happen in the college. There is no playground in the college.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and they act like our brothers. They are well qualified and experienced. The course is curriculum relevant, but practical knowledge gained here is average. Offline exams are extremely difficult, but 60% students got passed. Faculty members are very strict.
Other: I chose this course because of craze. After admission, things got out of hand. Practical rooms should be re-developed and equipments should be repaired. Annual events are celebrated. Connectivity is poor and campus surroundings are poor. Applicable students also get scholarship.

Our college is good for CSE and IT branches but not for core branches.
Placements: Around 55% of students got placed on-campus in the IT sector. The highest salary package offered was 32 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 4.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. Many students got placed off-campus. Top roles were offered in the IT sector, like a project manager and assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for CSE, IT and BME, but less facilities are available for core branches like civil and mechanical. Wi-Fi is poor. Some of the labs are broken due to the Aamphan cyclone. The hostel is not available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful to students in many ways. Our mentors are talented and helpful. They are strict about studies. Semester exams are not tough in both offline and online modes.
Other: I chose civil engineering because of its demand. All of my friends who studied CSE, IT, and ESE got placed in different companies with high salary packages. I attended many interviews, but they only hire experienced engineers.

Review of Netaji Subhash Engineering College.
Placements: Around 10 to 14 students are placed. Recruiters were pinnacle, extra marks, and CTS. Mainly IT firms come for placements and have no core placements. Students can easily get placements in those IT firms.
Infrastructure: Labs are somewhat maintained in a good condition. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners and are good. Library is huge and contains most of the books required. Wi-Fi is not operative in every place but can be accessed in some places. Hostel is not available to stay.
Faculty: Most of the faculty of the CE dept is the best. They are very cooperative and are always ready to help students. Semester exams were online but faculty members are always there to assure that no one does any discrepancies during the exam.
Other: CE dept organised ENIGMA-the alumni meet after long 17 years and it will now be continued by the upcoming batches.

Great faculty members are there.
Placements: 10% students got placed from my course. The highest package offered is about 8-10 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Companies such as TCS, Wipro and Pinnacle visit the college for recruitment. This year, the placement percentage was low due to Covid 19 pandemic and the lockdown but faculty members taught us very well, even in online mode. Respectable roles, trainee engineer, assistant engineer, etc. are the roles offered. You can pursue higher studies also.
Infrastructure: Mess is available in the hostel. Games and sports such as Football, cricket, TT, badminton, carrom, etc. are available. Medical facilities are also present but the canteen is not so good. Nearby food stalls are reasonable and of good quality. The PGs' mess is just 2 minutes away from the college.
Faculty: Awesome, highly qualified and experienced teachers are available with great teaching techniques. The course curriculum is relevant. Practical classes are very important and helpful. The college makes students industry ready. The semester exams are not so difficult if we study the notes provided by our teachers.
